I want to stock up on some cute hair clips for my daughter, but can't decide on what kind...alligator or snap clips?
I hear alligator clips slide down and are hard to keep on. But what about snap clips? Do those stay on well?

We wore the snap clips.. I think they hold less hair but stay better ..

snap clips stay better, but we have alligator clips too and they work well enough,

We have some of both, the best I've found are the baby wisp clips because she's a little baldy. She's just now getting enough hair to hold and alligator clip. I have a bunch of plain elastic headbands that I put the alligator clips on though.

Alligator clips work better in my LO's hair!

We have better luck with snap clips because LO's hair is super fine/thin.

IDK about this one yet, but I have several of the alligator clips I think (?) from Carter's. They have like a ribbon cover? I just got them on sale since that's what my BFF always uses on her daughter.

Ok so I just figured this one out. If I don't wash LOs hair, clips stay in much better because she has texture. If I do wash, the very same clips will slide out. I found this out the hard way.

@808love: LOL...sounds like my adult hair too! Dirty hair just works better for 'dos!
