Heard great things (except for the food). Any recommendations on what to do?

No, but I've been to the ridin-hy ranch in NY. It was so much fun! My hs BFF goes every year with her family and they love it. There is a ton to do and it would be a great vacation.

Totally forgot about that place. I went on a field trip in elementary school and all I know is that at that age it was the. best. thing. ever. I grew up in the Hudson Valley, I'm going to look into visiting next time I'm up there with family!
