Hellobee Boards

We went on a mini babymoon, probably like what you're thinking of doing. We live 10 minutes from the beach, so we went and stayed at a fancy hotel on the beach. It was awesome, so worth it! Hubby surprised me by taking me on the Jolly Trolley to go to the aquarium and see Winter the dolphin (from A Dolphin's Tale), both things I had been wanting to do for a while. And it was summer in Florida so I was always so hot, and we got to spend lots of time in the pool. They even showed a movie in the pool at night. It was so relaxing- something much needed before a baby comes!

We went to Costa Rica. It was wonderful!

We did a weekend getaway to San Diego before LO came. It was nice.

We spent a week in Montreal. Stretchy maternity pants were helpful with the whole eating-poutine-every-day thing that I did.

We went to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for 5 days and it was soo worth it. We just relaxed the whole time and when we got back we were rested up and ready to get started on the nursery! Only bad thing was I didn't have any summer maternity clothes since it was February, so I had to purchase a bathing suit and a few other things to wear.

We went to Australia-- Sydney and Melbourne -- for two weeks. It was nice to just relax and spend time with DH.

I'm at 32 weeks, and I think we're just going to do a lomg weekend in St. Augustine. We only live about 1.5 hrs away and go there fairly often, but the last time we were there I was just pregnant. I feel like I need to see the beach before I go into labor as a bit of a visual relaxation aid, so it's an easy and cheap trip.

We went to Jamaica for 5 days, and it was relaxing but to be honest, I think we went too early (around 14-15 weeks). If I could do it again, I'd go towards the end of the 2nd trimester because right now, it feels like that trip was ages ago and I want to go on another one!
