oh wow i would love to hear about it! i totally want one but i'm too scared. it would take a million crunches to get rid of my belly and even then i don't think it would!

Haha! I know! I work out all the time and even jogged through my seventh month but this built up scar tissue from two C sectionis is heavy and making my skin lumpy and sag. It needs to go

Never had one, but am also totally curious, particularly about the recovery! Please keep us updated!

Please keep us updated - would love to know how it goes for you and if you like the results as I would definitely consider having a tuck done. Also, if you don't mind sharing, about how much does something like that cost?

I will keep everyone informed haha How embarrasing! I'm glad I don't have to talk to everyone face to face! I am paying $11,000 and change for it. Sadly, it isn't considered necesary haha so I'm stuck with the bill. I wanted a great surgeon that has done them a lot so it's probably a little more pricey but I think the range near me in NYC was around $9,000 - $15,000.

Hope all goes well for you! This is def the one cosmetic procedure that I'd consider post-children.

@ecogirl: I haven't.. but I've only had 1 child. Seriously going to consider one after I'm done having kids.

I wish.... but I really don't want to have any cosmetic surgery. Even though I know it would make me much happier to have my old belly back!
But I do admit I'm a little jealous- good luck!

@ecogirl: ooh I can't wait to hear about your experience!!! I had so much sagging skin after RJ, even 2x per week crossfit training didn't do anything. It was really just skin-- I could grab handfuls of it.

My SIL had one. She worked out and was very active, but she said that no matter what she did, her tummy sagged because of loose skin (she has 3 kids). During her recovery she hired help to do the cooking and cleaning around the house because she couldn't exert herself too much. She was still able to come out to family functions, but she just moved more slowly.

Hello everyone! I got my Mommy Makeover last week and I am so sore. I was walking around very slowly the day after surgery and I can already see the results now that the swelling has gone down. I haven't had a stomach this flat since before college! Haha I also had them do a breast reduction of my implants, put new implants that are smaller in and then lift them a bit. So I am sore as can be and moving slowly but I already feel so excited! I have to wear the special bra and abdomen binder still for another week I think. I just wanted to update everyone! With the breast work the total ended up to be $16,000 for anyone that asked earlier. I'm glad to be back!

@ecogirl: I was JUST thinking about you this week and how you haven't been around here on hellobee!!! I was going to start a thread just asking where you were. Haha. Then I realized that some people have a life outside of here and are allowed to not post for weeks... not like me.
Hooray for surgery going well and recovering well!! I would absolutely love a tummy tuck some day... I wish I could do a reduction too but I've heard horror stories about natural breast reductions.
Welcome back!!!! Hope your hubby is feeling ok too!!!

Thank you so much!
MrsWagon thanks for asking! He is much better. Our doctor told him he is under far too much stress with his double life, as he called it haha So now he is home with me for six weeks and then gone for two weeks. He has also been exercising with me which is wonderful! I am keeping a very close eye on him haha. Our nanny is still adjusting to him being here so often though She says she feels like we broke up haha but she is just being silly

I'm glad I did it Banana and Chopsuey! The hardest part for me was the thought of something going wrong and my children not having me there all because of cosmetic surgery. It was a very difficult thing to come to terms with.
