One of my biggest fears, too. Especially because the stress of taking care of a toddler AND a newborn has to be an even more difficult adjustment...

@googly-eyes: I was worried too, but ended up being ok.. A huge part of my PPD the first time was not knowing what to expect. The second time around was so much better in that respect and I was able to be more confident in my decisions and know what was "normal" in terms of the baby. I guess that's not to say it won't happen, but you are right that you will know if something's not right and you need more support! Good luck...

I didn't have ppd with #1 but had the baby blues pretty badly (most attributed it to his mspi). Anyway- I fear baby #2 because I was so close with #1, I fear that having 2 will push me over the edge. It's a constant fear. At least I have some tricks up my sleeve now as to how to take a breather.
