Seriously I'm so mad right now! I either work in the worst place or have really bad luck. I got a brand new car about 4 months ago. It got keyed about a month and a half ago. Today I walked around my car and noticed the opposite side got keyed! I'm like are you freaking kidding me??

Mine never has but my brother got "fagit" keyed into his hood one time.

Who does that?!? That's terrible! My car has never been keyed, but my brother and BFF have had their cars keyed before. My friend's car was keyed on both sides. I just don't understand people.

I know seriously it put me in the worst mood! I really think its happening where I work but I have no way of proving it ad even if I did what am I going to do about it? Ughhhhh...just venting!

Mine hasn't and I am not sure I know anyone who's has. That is such a terrible thing to do.

@matador84: I know when my brother's car was keyed, they reviewed surveillance video to see if they could figure out who did it (the car was parked out of sight, however). Is that an option? Any cameras around?

I'm so sorry. I drove to Vancouver with my two dogs about six years ago and a homeless guy keyed all the cars in the hotel's parking lot. They had him on camera and everything. Very frustrating.

YES and I'm still mad. At the beginning of the year, 8 teachers got their cars keyed in the school parking lot. I teach elementary school, so I doubt it was one of our kids, but probably older kids going to the basketball court. Of course I had the newest car and the worst damage... down both sides! Sorry matador84!

That stinks! What jerks! So sorry.
One of my girlfriends had her car keyed bad in high school. Like with a screwdriver. They wrote "bitch" on one side and "whore" on the other. There were metal shavings on the ground. The sad thing was that it was totally random and not somewhere that someone would have known it was hers. I can't imagine what posesses someone to do that.

My car has been keyed and it looks like Wolverine did a hood slide on my car. Someone also smashed the windshield!

Ugh I have. It was vandalized right in front of our house. DH and I park two cars on the street, one in front of the other. Some person decided to climb onto DH's car and jump onto the hood of my car, denting it pretty bad. You could see the footprints on both cars. I had to get the entire hood replaced. Then they keyed both my doors so the entire side of my car had to be repainted. Luckily I got both fixed and only had to pay my insurance deductible.

Yes, I have! I went to my car one morning and it had curse words keyed in on both sides! I looked at the other cars around my car and they had the same thing. I was SOOO mad!

Brutal! is there anywhere at your work that you can park that has cameras? even if it is a bit further - might be worth it.

Holy cow how horrible! I haven't heard of anyone on real life's car getting keyed. It just seems so immature and sickening. People these days have no respect I swear. Can the dealership fill in scratches like that?

Yes. Someone keyed some pretty bad words in it, I'm not sure I'm allowed to write it on here. I was walking into Wal-Mart and two guys were hooting and hollering, I didn't respond because they weren't even using real words to try to pick me up and it was just weird to me. So I walk out of the store and my car was keyed. a bad, yucky word (....... Sucker) and really big.

Well it doesn't help that I work in a middle school. I'm lucky and the kids love me, but I teach in a bad area and there's a lot of crime. Plus I park in the back of the lot because I have to drop DS off so I get there late and its further away from the cameras.
@mrstiz heck no! That is one of my fears! Parking bad or taking someone's spot in a lot is asking for it with some of the crazies out there today! In fact, I'm so paranoid I park far away from other cars in all lots!

I'm sorry. My car has never been keyed, but my DH had a yellow car that was vandalized several times. I was driving home from Fort Worth late one night. Around 3am I was turning off a main road onto my street. I heard this really loud noise and thought I had been shot at. It turns out someone had thrown a rock at my car. Where I was turning was by railroad tracks. I think some teens were drunk and messing around. I still have the dent on my driver's side door.
