Cool it on the baby talk (as in, talking about your baby?)
FWIW, I am 7 weeks from my due date and it's hard to think about anything else. Plus, he isn't much of a conversationalist anyway (husband, not the baby)...
Just curious...

haha, no, but he also would just ignore me when I used to talk too much about the baby (prior to its arrival)! Probably why I'm so active on HB...

same as @Mamaof2: I have a feeling he's just starting to tune me out! LOL

He is smarter then that. I assume he tunes me out at times.

Depends on the conversation, but essentially yes. If he had a really stressful day, he's said he just needs a night to not plan baby things. Or, maybe I'll be discussing something gross during dinner.

Yes. She has. Haha. Not as much anymore though - more so before I got pregnant and would talk about it incessantly.

Yes. We've had to set boundaries. Like I can't talk about it on date night or when we are in the car.

No, I would kill him! I'm sure he isn't listening half the time though haha.
He does seem to get a little annoyed at how often I grab his hand to feel the baby kick. He doesn't find it nearly as exciting as I do! Though probably bc she usually stops whenever he tries to feel her.

Nope but agree with others that he probably just half listens!

No. I often ask him (during the pregnancy and now) if I'm talking about her too much and he always says no. I'm sure he tunes me out sometimes.

No. Although one time when LO was maybe 5 or 6 weeks home and I was still home and more overwhelmed with life and in more pain than I knew what to do with still (breastfeeding) he got home from work and said "Anything non-baby-related happy today?"
That went over super well.

@Keybee: that would make me crazy! I get so much of my talking done in the car lol.

I'm sure he thinks it in his head, but knows better than to say it out loud and risk my wrath lol.

Oh yes! He gets tired of hearing of babies and pregnancy but I know he just realizes that's the life stage my friends and I are in so he has to deal.

I should say, he didn't specifically ask me but he did say all the baby talk can be overwhelming. He said he understands it comes from a place of being excited.

Not exactly, but he had said a few times something about my having been obsessed both when TTC & now pregnant. As others, I think he does tune me out some, but he has also said he's "more excited than I even know" for our little girl to arrive.

Nope. DH had crazy mad baby fever way before we even thought about TTC so the fact we had a bun in the oven he was all over it.

@Torchwood: Agree with this. Another vote for "no, but he'll tune me out."

No, but in the early weeks of parenthood we joked about him having the ability to think about things other than the baby- I definitely couldn't!
