@MamaG: I don't know, maybe? He also got his adenoids out with the second set of tubes.
@LovelyPlum: oh yeah, the drainage is so gross! The first(and only) infection DS got with the tubes, I thought he was bleeding from his ears!

LO just had his first-ever ear infection at 3 years old! I couldn't believe we made it this far without one.

We had seven with DD before she got tubes...god bless tubes!!!!!

I think he's had 4, and 2 of those were double ear infections. Just finished another round of antibiotics for one a week ago. Bleh.

@GrapeCrush: I think we are on our third infection with the tubes this AM, but I'm not sure. She had one about 10 days ago, but I'm beginning to wonder if we stopped the drops too soon. She woke up with crusty ears again, so we re-started the drops. I hope it helps!

At 2.5, none so far! Hopefully we keep clearance. However, he was sick a lot during his early infant stage so maybe that's our equivalent?

@LovelyPlum: Yes, they took her adenoids out, and apparently they were really bad. I felt weird having them removed, but it seems to be better now - hopefully we won't need a 3rd set

@MamaG: I want to say she was about 9 or 10 months old when she got her first set, and almost 2 yrs old with her 2nd set. Her first set stayed in for a long time.
