Yes, but only when we're traveling. I should take them on the bus for fun, but it's so inconvenient when we stay local.

Sort of? Shuttles and planes yes but dd has only taken a train for a field trip.

@Applesandbananas: They aren't too bad. The only one that was too gross was the #4 bus.
No, but public transit in town is not convenient. I took the bus for jury duty and it was okay, except for the aforementioned #4 bus. That one I'm pretty sure someone peed in it.

@avivoca: DH has taken it a couple times, he's from an area that has a better public transit system so when he first moved here, he was all about it... Until he actually got on a bus.

Yes, all the time when she was little. But, it isn't great here, so it was a PITA. I haven't had to since DH got his new job last January. I'm grateful!

Buses, trains, ferries, water taxis, and planes (do planes count?). So much easier than driving! I'm so glad we live in a place this is possible- especially the ferries, which they adore.
