Recently my husband was trying to show off with his iPhone voice response system so he told it, "call the love of my life." It came back with something like, "multiple results." and them listed like three different names. Hahahaha

Haaaahahah, those are both great.

I had one of those "he's so great but I want to smack him at the same time" moments recently--he travels a lot for work and was gone one week. I had gotten home from work and the doorbell rang; he had ordered me a pizza from across the country and had it delivered. It was fabulous because, let's be serious, who doesn't want to put a pizza down while watching ridiculous trashy reality tv, but then...you eat ridiculous amounts of pizza...sigh.

I put LO in new clothes and let her chill with her daddy in front of the TV. When it was time for changing, I noticed a bunch of brown spots on her pants. DH claimed it was poop, but it was chocolate!

Daily, my husband is such a weird specimen.

I hit him last night as I nearly bowled over in hysterics.

We're in birthing class and practicing the different "positions" one can be in through labour to help through contractions. It was semi-quiet, aside from the instructor speaking. It was a position that could have easily gotten sexual (I was on a chair, he was on his knees) and DH drops "well this is how it all started and we got ourselves to this class in the first place".

I looked at him shocked he just said it, and then had to control the laughter, silly.

Yes, I have those I-could-smack-him-but-man-that's-funny moments all the time! A few weeks back, we had my mum for dinner and the inevitable "you're going to put me in a home, haha" conversation came up (us Brits have dark senses of humour!). Anyway, DH replies "No I wont, don't be silly, I've already bought you a one way ticket to Switzerland". My mum didn't get the Dignitas (assisted dying organisation) reference and asked why it was a one way ticket. DH replied "Well we're not paying to fly your body back, they can mail your ashes back in an envelope. Second class". Well, I almost spat my drink out!! It was so funny but so, so wrong!! My mum hasn't spoken to him since!! I've seen her and she's totally over it but she's making him sweat!!
