@Mrs. Bee: Not me personally, but in my kindergarten class a few years ago something similar happened. One student's mom ran up to another, rubbed her stomach, and said "OMG you look amazing! How far along are you? What a cute bump!" The woman was definitely NOT pregnant. Holy embarrassing. I do have to say, though, that that particular mom consistently looked about 5-months pregnant even though she wasn't. Still. I follow the policy of never 'assuming' because you just don't know!

Maybe Charlie's just saying that because he wishes for another sibling?!

I've been asked several times

At 2 wks pp my neighbor comes to my door and says "I was about to ask your husband if you already had the baby but I can see you haven't!"

A few days post partum my pharmacist wouldn't give me my c section pain meds because they were dangerous for pregnant women. That was an awkward conversation.

Yes, several times. The worst was I used to get asked, even when I was very thin. I think it was the type of sundresses that I wore, but hey, that was the style!
I also it asked PP for a few month, but when I switched out of maternity clothes that stopped.

Yes. At my grandmothers funeral. 8 months postpartum

Yep, one time when I was like 16 and at BRU with my SIL, I was holding a pack of bath towels or something for her while she ran to grab something as I was keeping her place in line. I was absolutely mortified. I didn't have a pooch at all!

Annnnd another time about 2 weeks ago..by my coworker. I was wearing a maxi skirt and a flowy top tucked into it. He asked if I was pregnant again and when I said "no..i'm not." he said "Ah, well you look like you're dressed to audition to be that mom from 19 Kids and Counting!" .... wut.

Yep!!! At work quite often. It's awful. I don't think I look that bad in my scrubs. Ugh!

It happens from time to time. I think I must just have bad posture sometimes, creating a pooch, because I'm not even overweight...Also, I think people read into what they want to see sometimes.

Yup, like once a year before having children and like once a month now. I'm constantly told it's the way I stand. I guess I naturally stand with my hand on my hip and kind of leaning back. Sometimes I'm nice about it and sometimes I get nasty. I think it's so rude.
