Yes, for work!
I also flew to Europe for work in United's business class, which was unreal. Cocktails, 3 course dinner, big TV, seat that reclined into a bed... I WISH I could fly like that again! Tickets are so outrageously expensive. Thanks, former job!

Never, and I have flown a ton. It's my dream to get bumped up during one of our overnight international legs, but it never happens.

I flew first class once when I was about 13. I think I was too young to fully appreciate it!

@Alivoo01: it is insanely expensive. But, the way we've always seen it is: it is such a long flight that it's worth it to us, especially since we don't spend money on lodging overseas because both mine and dh's parents own homes over there. Also- at least in my home country: food and souvenirs are both very inexpensive. So, we pay the bulk of our trip in flights. We are then, willing to go 1st class.

I wish! I am happy when I can upgrade to more legroom, haha! Teacher who married a teacher here!

@CupQuakeWalk: have you flown business? It's a lot less and still very comfortable. You are missing a few things like pajamas but the seat is enormous (and many are lay flat) and the service is usually excellent, particularly on certain foreign carriers.

Nope. I am the queen of economy.
I did once get bumped up one class for the last 30 minutes so the Chinese quarantine officials could get to me first when they came on the plane. Does that count?

Several times domestic and once internationally. All when I was a kid. I remember it was when first class had a dress code...I had to wear a dress with tights!

I have once, only because my friend and I were upgraded for free! It was back in my college days.

I've gotten to sit in first class several times when I was flying standby. The extra room is great, and you still get all the perks of sitting in first class even if you get bumped up.

No never. When we went to Mexico recently we sat in "plus" seating on WestJet, which was basically just some extra leg room and some "free" food.

Yup, but my favorite airline is an all business class airline, it's almost like a private jet.

A few times, and I loved it!
Once I didn't know I had gotten bumped up. It was a bad day of travels, and I was checking myself in when I noticed my seat had been changed. I didn't realize it was changed to first class, and I was annoyed b/c I wanted the seat I had picked out. The day had been just bad enough that I was prepared to battle. The service person said, "Ok, sooooooo. . . you want to be moved back down to coach???" So embarrassing, but I got over it pretty quickly once I was settled in my big, comfy seat for my long flight!
