When I was three I was in a crowd scene in a Pepsi commercial. And a few years ago I sat behind home plate at a baseball game and was on TV on and off throughout the game. That's it. Have you had 15 minutes of fame?

fame? lol no.
I was an extra for One Tree Hill once (sitting in the cafe during a scene). But I isn't watch the show at the time and forgot to watch to see if we were actually shown. So I dunno.

I don't want to be too detailed, but yes, there has been a whole TV-documentary show episode about one aspect of my life! I'm only on screen for small parts (the rest is done by an actress) and cannot stand to watch it. I've only ever seen it with my hands over my eyes peeking.

@Little Misters Mom: omg i am SO curious now. I hope it was Sex Sent Me to the ER lol!
ETA: (just bc that show is hilarrrrious. not bc I hope you were injured!! hah)

They did a news story here about my birth story.
Two other times, once I was interviewed about traffic patterns in our city and another a story they did about letter writing. Kind of crazy!

@Mae: I'm currently watching that show!!! Id love to know if you were in it!
@Little Misters Mom: Ahh I love those types of shows. Totally curious now.

@Mae: hahaha. That sounds like something I'd watch. But no sex, no crimes, I swear! I'd private message if there was a way to do it, it's not as exciting as it sounds!

@Little Misters Mom: Oh my gosh, are you a plushy or something? LOL
YES, I have been on TV

@Danizaur: me too! I actually watched the series on netflix last year sort of hoping to see me. But then I got wrapped up in the story and totally forgot to keep an eye out! hah. I'm not even sure what season it would be in. I can't remember when we did it either... either summer 2004 or summer 2005. So I guess some time between fall 2004 and spring 2006... but that is two full seasons! lol

@mamimami: Oh god, that makes me want to clarify... I had a very serious/rare MEDICAL event and the show is mostly about the amazing doctors and nurses.

Saturday haha we were at the local college gymnastics meet and the Big 10 network was filming it, my DH recorded it since DD and I were on it several times. I am a very animated fan
I've also been on the local news several times for my participation in a local charity.

@Little Misters Mom: Sorry, hahaha.... imagination running wild. Next I was going to ask if you had a Real Doll or something.
I am glad you are OK!!!

@mamimami: ha, no judgment to the plushies or hoarders or My Little Pony fanatics out there! You do you, guys. Just wouldn't want people wondering if I was addicted to snorting heroin or raising beanie babies as children, when I'm asking my boring mom questions.

Yes, when I went to the Ellen Show! But I was more just super excited to even be at the Ellen Show And then a few times when I was still working in TV news, I (or my voice) was on TV. I didn't really want to be an on-camera person so I was mostly kind of embarrassed when that happened.

Yeah, a couple times I can think of. Was on a few segments of the local news for a charity event I planned and was in a political ad my last company made.

I was on the today show, the CBS morning show and ny1 singing back ups for chubby checker. I was also in the audience at Conan in NYC around 1996.

I was on Cash Cab; however, I'm pretty sure it didn't air, at least I never saw it and I watched religiously for awhile. I failed pretty miserably so didn't win any money, and the cab had a lot of technical difficulties during our ride.
I was in the background on the Dr. Oz show a couple of years ago too.

I was on AFV (well, my voice was) and so was my dog (the star!) and my DH.

@Mae: Many of my friends were extras on OTH! I live where it is filmed
I've only been on the local news in parades and such, but I don't really count that. I live in an area that has a big film industry, so it's possible that I've been on something without realizing it.

I used to be an extra for movies filmed in San Francisco... Mostly you can't see me clearly, but I'm there. Murder in the First and Nine Months are two that come to mind.

I was interviewed on the news when I was in elementary school, and did the weather with Willard Scott when I was in middle school.
I did background work on a movie when I was in college.

Yes, several times. I worked for a news station, I've been an extra in a movie, and was in a couple independent films.

Mine is nerdy but cool. I was in the matching band at UCLA and was in a Macys commercial, a Fedrx commercial, and the movie "I Know What You Screamed Last Summer." The Macys one was a small group and we actually got paid pretty well. The other two you wouldn't be able to find me. I went to Ellen once too.

I've been on HGTV a few times for work. And the news for dumb high school stuff.
Definitely not 15 minutes if fame worthy stuff though.

DH and I were filmed eating ice cream for the local news on a particularly hot day a few summers ago. Not too exciting!

My husband has been a few times for work. He was just interviewed by NPR too.
I haven't been on anything though!

Yes. The local news stations came out and filmed my family when my mom and her sister met for the first time. It was awkward (more for my mom and aunt than the rest of us) and a solid year later people were still recognizing Mom from the news segments.

Nope. Unless you count Public Access TV for band concerts etc

My roommates were on Cash Cab and I was their phone-a-friend - I don't think that counts though.

I was on MTV's TRL when i was 16 and "requested" a song. I believe my line was "I wanna hear 'My Way' by Limp Bizkit because it's my way or the highway".... for the record i did not get to choose what song i was requesting and they fed me the line. I did get to meet Carson Daly and he was kind of an a-hole.

@elljay: did you get it right?
@Little Misters Mom: untold stories of the ER? Or I didn't know I was pregnant?
I did the occasional interview for the news when there was stuff relating to my job. It was always embarrassing when people recognized me the next day! I did learn to keep makeup in my desk because of it, lol.

I was in a few commercials for a local custard/burger restaurant when I was 5 or 6. My dad was the manager. Just recently LO and I were in the background of an episode of Extreme cheapskates. They were filming at a park we were playing at.

I was in a local commercial (I did it for a friend who was a producer).

Twice: the first time was when I was 14 and I was picked as the "kid of the week" for good grades and such. The second time is pretty awful. My older brother was the victim of a random shooting for a gang initiation. He survived 9 gunshots which is why it was a big deal to the news. They never did find the kids that shot him

When I was a student, I was an audience member for game shows in my area. It actually paid pretty well for just sitting there clapping!
Also its not tv/movies but I was the baby on the cardboard packaging of a few baby items.

@MrsSCB: I was gonna say no, but I went to the Ellen show once, too!
I went during the 12 days of giveaways and I got to sit in the row that she danced down!!! So I was on TV for a second. lol It was awesome.
