Yes, winter parking sucks around here if you don’t have dedicated off-street parking. I’ve had my car towed due to early snow parking bans twice, and also had my car booted once because I neglected to pay a parking ticket (oops).

Only towed, we do not have boots around here that I'm aware of. I had my car parked at a friend's apartment complex and ran inside to drop something off, 15 minutes later my car was gone! I was not happy at all!

I have THE WORST story - My car was towed from the long term parking lot at LAX while I was out of town! I got back from my flight at like 11pm and spent an hour wandering around the parking lot alone searching for my car. I finally found a cop & he called & found out that it'd been impounded so I had to call & wake up my roommate to come pick me up and didn't get home until 3am!
Then we spent the next day running around trying to get everything set so my car could be released. It was my own fault because I'd let the tabs expire and it took multiple trips to the impound lot, DMV, and police station before I got to drive my car home. -
Just towed and it super sucked. The row truck driver pointed the direction to walk to pick up my car, but the stinker didn't give me a ride even though he was going that way, too!

I had my car towed from my apartment complex in college. They never gave me the updated decal, so they took me to get it and I didn't have to pay.

Yes and no! One time I went clubbing...parked the car and came back a few hours later. Same car...looked like a different color. Must be the lighting. Tried to open it...couldnt. The hell... Oops, not my car. Saw the car in front getting towed. Dayum trees... Covered the taxis only sign.

No, but I've had someone's car towed before!
I was moving and posted signs from the police department (enforceable) Thursday morning and the girl parked there on Wednesday and when she came on Saturday, there was my moving truck!
