I can't believe I got sucked into this thread (and reading all 9!!! Pages of comments). But I honestly think those noises kinda sound like an automated hand dryer?? You know, when you get your hands too close to one of them in the restroom and it turns out to be some weird behemoth automated hand dryers that can make your skin ripple. Am I the only one??
