Growing up in the middle of BFE if we had to pee while traveling & no bathroom was insite we stopped on a country road and peed. My grandma even carried a pee bucket & tissue under her car seat just encase. Like me she couldn't pop a squat with out getting it everywhere. But out here when you gotta go you gotta go.

I think maybe once or twice, ever, when I was really young. I seem to recall my dad holding me up with my legs up so the pee would go away from us. But we live in a pretty populated area so you are never THAT far from a gas station or something.
I've peed in the woods plenty but not on the side of the road.

When i was a kid, yes. I even remember a time when my parents made me do #2 on the side of the road. Not proud of that one.

One of my good friends peed on the side of the road IN HER WEDDING DRESS on the way from the ceremony to the reception. She's crazy.

Handful of times. Last time I was a teen & the ONLY road that went out to where we lived was closed off due to an accident for hours. =/

Ever seen the "Go Girl", or as I like to call it... portable lady dick? It's a female urination device that converts the typical girly parts into a convenient penis like contraption so that you can pee standing up. Perfect stocking stuffer! lol

Yup. I have done a lot of traveling in rural places, and when you gotta go, you gotta go. Hell, I have chose to pee in an alley over using a nasty bathroom, so I'm not one to judge, heh. And I was fully adult at that point. And not drunk. So, yeah.

Somehow I have never done this, I admit I mainly clicked on here out of a train wreck kind of curiosity wondering why there was a photo!
Also, what does BFE stand for? I grew up in the middle of nowhere and we called it something that would be abbreviated EBF so I am curious.

I have peed anywhere and everywhere. Woods? Check. Side of the road? Check. Parking lot? Check (not where people would be able to walk in it....but like, the back of a parking lot where there is a fence). Backyard of someone's house? Check (only in a very dire circumstance where there was 1 bathroom, being used forever, and I had to go RIGHT THEN or have an accident. )
And best one yet? In the car, into a cup? check.
That's the life of having a super-small bladder!

All the time. But I grew up in the middle of nowhere. We used to drive around for fun. Dirt roads, middle of the woods. I've even changed tampons on the side of the road (TMI- sorry!).
Always kept tissues and hand sanitizer around

Did when I was young, like in the 5-10 age. I was that cool child that NEVER had to pee before we left on a long roadtrip, but as soon as we got out of a town where a toilet would've been easily found, I needed to pee RIGHT THEN. Thankfully I haven't needed to in a long time.

We have the pstyle http://www.amazon.com/Kristas-Cups-KristaS-Pink-Pstyle/dp/B002AA2LD2/ref=pd_sim_hpc_4 which my six year old does refer to as her "penis." We live in rural MN and there are lots of times when we might be driving somewhere and be far from a place we could stop to use the restroom. We also like to go camping, and it is nice to not get pee all over your clothes. They look strange, perhaps, but they work!

Yup, I have. The most recent time on our honeymoon in Samoa. Public bathrooms are not so much a thing there. Combine that with bumpy roads, crashing oceans and drinking water constantly to stay hydrated - it was either the side of the road or pee my pants!

I'm happy to go anywhere, by the side of the road, in bushes etc. so long as I'm sure no one passing by could see! I have no shame... I was brought up with the notion that when you gotta go, you gotta go!!

@Sugar.Biscuit: I've always been curious as to what BFE stood for... I know it's a word to describe so far out in the country/sticks that you don't have cell reception, etc., but what exactly does the acronym stand for?
I peed on the side of the road once while we were on vacation in China. We were inbetween two destinations that were hours apart and had no pit stops so the driver pulled over and we all went. It was a nightmare! I can't squat and pee!

Once when I was absolutely desperate. To illustrate how desperate I was, not only was I willing to pee on the side of the road, but it was also -20 Celsius, January in Canada.
