An ex-boyfriend and one of my best friends are right next to each other in my phone. He found out about the great sex me and DH and I were having while TTC, my miscarriage and got a picture of my pee stick.

Finally got around to deleting him...

A few days ago I sent one of DH's friends a video monitor picture of E sleeping that was intended for my mom. Apparently my phone thinks Ma=Ian.

Haha oh yes. I once texted an ex's friend instead of the ex with something raunchy. Oops. Also told my BIL how much I loved him instead of DH.

I probably have, but nothing embarrassing. DH is notorious for it. He always has at least 2-3 people (sometimes more) that he's texting with at one time.

I've only received one text that REALLY was not meant for my eyes from DH; he was upset with me, and I was getting the hint (didn't know what it was about, just that he had been avoiding me and acting weird) so asked him if everything was okay, you seem weird, etc. He replied with, "She's asking if everything is okay, not sure what to do." Uhh... Yeah, I'm assuming you're talking about me... That was meant for SIL.

Once we were at my in laws house and DH was in the backyard or something and I was sitting with my MIL. I meant to text DH "can we go soon? I'm starving!" And I sent it to MIL. I didn't even realize I sent it to her until she texted back "what would you like to eat?" Haha whoops!

I text my BFF unimportant stuff all the time thinking its DH. One time I accidentally texted an old friend my exact paycheck amount when I was trying to tell DH how much I made after a raise.

I accidentally SEXTED my EX when it was obviously meant for DH!!!!! I was texting both at the same time and didnt pay attention to the top.

It was pretty much the dirtiest thing I've ever thought and sent it on a whim while I was home visiting family without DH. All my ex said was "wow! You've changed :)" cue being more embarrassed than I've ever been in my life. Luckily my ex and I are best friends and had a pretty good laugh about it.

Nope but my friend texted (meant to go to her DH) about how she didn't want to hang out with DH and I that night. She tried to cover it up so much but it was just making it worse.

I once sent a text from a bar toilet cubicle to my BFF, complaining about what a bore my boyfriend was and what a crap time I was having out with him. It was a full barrage of abuse about him.... but I had drunk a little too much and accidentally sent it TO the boyfriend! Ack!

Hahaha yes. I don't do it hardly ever now that I have an iPhone, it organizes texts by contact so I usually am careful about selecting the right person. But DH had input his mom as "mom" in my phone and I didn't know that! So I accidentally text her...

I was asking my mom if she was going to the beach and instead it went to my MIL who lives 1000 miles away. Funny part was MIL text me back like it wasn't weird at all that I asked her if she's going to the beach lol! Even funnier was she was doing out of state training at the time and responded saying she was in Oklahoma. So I was like what the heck why didn't my mom tell me she went to Oklahoma!

Nope. I always check, dh is notorious for sending texts to the wrong people. one night while he was working out of town he sent his super lovey dovey good night text meant for me to our landlord.... she still gives him crap about it but it was hilarious!

I haven't but my sister was on a business trip and went to text her DH complaining about a coworker, but she accidentally sent it to the coworker since their names were next to each other! Made for a awkward business trip for her!

That reminded me! My husband once got a late night text from his coworker saying she was at NAME OF the bar and couldn't wait for him to get there bc she missed him so much! & can't wait to see you soon.

It took him (my husband) forever to figure it out, but his name and her boyfriends name are the same! She texted the wrong person!

He eventually texted her back and said "..uh, wrong ____(name)!" and she was so embarrassed!

These are great stories! Nothing fun to share but I just wanted to thank everyone for the entertainment!

Just did yesterday.. meant to text my sister and somehow texted my mom.

When Hubs and I were first dating, I sent him a sickeningly sweet goodnight text. But it was actually sent to a friend of mine, who responded with "I love you too, sweetie poo". I'm just glad I didn't sent something more graphic.
