I haven't, but I bought DH a Fitbit and he uses it off and on.

I used it one day because I wanted to know how many steps I took at gymboree. Not as many as I thought.

I used a FitBit for a while but then stopped --- I should really break it out again!

I wear a Fitbit everyday on my bra. I have their new version of it since my last couple ones broke spectacularly. They redesigned it so much better than their earlier model.

@cascademom: I just got the new one too since my old one died - they are so good about replacements!
We should start a HB fitbit group - maybe that would motivate me more!

I've been addicted to my Jawbone UP band since May. It's like a FitBit. I love it, and I love the motivation is gives me to makes sure I'm active everyday.
I used to use the basic pedometer that clipped on to your pants, but I like the interactivity of this new kind of pedometer. And the information it gives me about my sleep too.

@hellobeeboston: Ohh, that's a good idea. I could also add you to my friends list. I walked so much this past week with LO, my step count was so high. I noticed that my husband's wasn't much because he was in a car city not a walking city.

@cascademom: I definitely walk more when I have it... Maybe I'll post to see if anyone else in interested and we can make a private fitbit group!
I should get one for my husband too...

@hellobeeboston: Yeah, it's so helpful to know how much walking I'm really doing. Since it's on my bra, I never forget to put it on in the morning.

Every few months we have walking contests at work. It is a great motivator to keep moving. I used to think I moved around a lot but am actually super sedentary. Thanks for the reminder to start wearing it again. 10,000 daily steps makes a big difference in your health!
Now to order a battery for the pedometer, which is the reason I stopped wearing it.

I love my fitbit! I wore it every day for months until I forgot to charge it last week. Now its sitting on my dresser. Oops!

I have a FitBit and I'm so sad to find out that I don't walk as many steps per day as I thought! Days I don't run or otherwise exercise I'm only averaging 3,000 steps instead of the 10,000 you're supposed to get! I hit 10,000 the days I run, but should really be walking 10,000 every day...

I have in the past but it's been forever. When I worked at the hospital I walked an average of 9-10 miles a shift!!!
