I washed our Britax Boulevard cover last night for the first time since we bought the seat in August 2012. The manual said hand wash only so I put it in the washing machine on the hand wash setting! It looks new!
I found 6 bows, 2 hair elastics, tiny rocks and a ton of sand under the cover!

I washed the infant seat cover, since my sister gave me hers and it had been in storage and her attic. It wasn't too dirty but I did find some cheerios.

Nope. I don't think you're supposed to because it affects the fire retardance of the material.

yup, after she peed on it! we handwashed it at first, but then threw it in the washing machine. turned out fine.

yep several times - DD threw up in her car seat a lot!

@Mamaof2: yeah, we've had some throw-ups as well and have thrown it in the wash. and my husband sprayed about a can's worth of febreze in the car. that was not helpful. too much febreze = nauseating smell for a week.

Yup...we had a serious blowout in it. That was fun.
We washed on delicate and air dried!

We're still in the infant bucket seat, and I want to wash it, but I can't seem to get it out from under the push button for releasing the strap tightness. We have the Chicco KeyFit30.

We've never had to, but now that I have written that I am sure we'll have an incident.
