Does anyone else have this issue? I've noticed that every time I eat pasta now, I get a headache.

Maybe you should get your sugar levels checked out. Pasta is carbs so your body gets a sugar rush, and then subsequent crash. Hope you feel better!

Are you always eating pasta with red sauce? Could be a tomato allergy.

I second a gluten sensitivity/allergy. Although, I don't know what else is on your pasta, so that could be a factor as well.
In general, perhaps you could try eliminating gluten and grains from you diet and see if you have an overall improvement in health or get some tests done?

Try quinoa pasta in the natural foods section of the grocery store. Pricier, yes - but SO much yummier and healthier.

i third the gluten/wheat issue --- it could be an intolerance or celiac.... you can get tested to see if it's either.

Thanks everyone! I don't think it's tomatoes. The pasta dish we had yesterday (and the leftovers I had today) didn't have tomatoes.
The headaches aren't unbearable, but enough to need some Excedrin.
I guess I will scale back on the carbs for a while.

Well, I had some more pasta for lunch just to be sure. I don't know why I do this to myself, bc I had another headache from hell. Excedrin has been my lover the past few days. My husband and I are going gluten free for a while to see if that helps.

But does bread do it, too? Being gluten free SUCKS.
And coming from me, I used to be allergic to wheat and just yesterday started getting hives again. I'm still not ready to cut out wheat!
