It's finally happening...our family is moving to Chicago! My LO will be 2 months old when we head out there in late July, and I'm looking forward to making some new mommy friends out there!
Are any Chi-town mommies interested in meeting up, and could any of you recommend any good mommy and me type groups out there or any baby-friendly activities in general? We'll be living in Streeterville/Gold Coast.

Congrats- you are going to love Chicago! It's a great town. I live in the NW burbs now but I know there is a group called "Bump Club and Beyond" that organizes a lot of Mommy events in the city. That might be a good place to start. I have a 3-month old and commute 3 hours a day so I really haven't had any time to do any of the activities yet but I hope to when he gets older.

I am SO jealous!!! When we visited we both fell in love with the city! NYC life but slower pace and everyone was soo nice!

@regberadaisy: That is exactly why we love Chicago! I love NYC but my husband thinks it's too hectic, so Chicago is the perfect compromise!
