DH had to change his first major solid food poopy diaper this morning. I almost felt bad for him, he started to gag (he does NOT deal well with poop) but not bad enough to respond to the pleading look he shot me with anything other than a snicker. No pity from me--I change 98% of his diapers.
Is your SO a big baby when it comes to the bodily functions of your LO? Do you make him suck it up?

YES. DH gags and carries on like he's dying. I make him suck it up.

No. In fact, DH handles all the poop when he's home. He's very "take charge" lol

@zippylef: I've snarkily told DH that I could handle if it if he wasn't man enough to deal with a little bit of (then EBF!!) poop. I don't think he's ever glared at me so hard!
@luckypenny: Oh man, that would be so nice! DH claims it's just poop, that he'll have no problem with vomit or anything else--we'll see.
@Mrs.B: Yikes! I should be grateful that my DH is generally great with dirty diapers (esp wet ones).

Oh my. This is a big concern for me. I'm 17 weeks, and DH has never changed a diaper, but he gags when he cleans the cat box and downright refuses to clean up if the dog vomits...he's such a baby!

@FutureMrsMcK: When DS was potty training he took a long time to poo in the potty and hid to poo in his undies this always happened when DH was watching him so karma got him a little

@JamieLee: Ha I totally gag when I clean the cat box--DH does it 99% of the time, even before I got pregnant (and 100% while I was pregnant).

Ha! He's good about(so far EBF) diapers, but we just bought a nose frida, and I'm trying to convince him that snot sucking is daddy's job! Here's hoping I win that one...

So far DH has been good about changing diapers, but he does gasp and make some gross faces and noises when they've been bad.

Dh doesn't get physically ill over poopy diapers but he kvetches the whole time. So much that I just change it, I'd rather just do it then listen to the kvetching. But if he's home hell entertain lo while I'm changing her so she's less wiggly and that makes life so much easier for me.

Dan totally gagged and dry-heaved his way through his first poopy diaper, and she's still has tiny newborn poops. He always finds something urgent he has to do whenever she poops.

We have no kids yet, but I have to clean up all the dog poop and puke so it is not looking good lol.

He's usually happy to change it, but he always asks me to help. I don't get a break that way!

Not sure how he sill be yet. He is usually super sensitive to stuff like that. I have been forcing him to pick up dog poop for a while to desensitize him to it. We shall see!
