I wish these diet bets were about muscle instead of weight. I am at a good weight but need more muscle, less flab.

I'd be game, I think. I calculated it for me and it's a very doable weight loss.

@TemperanceBrennan: The girls didn't want to do a split up when they organized the challenge, but after I won they agreed to split the winnings based on the % of total pounds lost. No idea if they did, I left the job not long after.

I might be game after having LO.

I would totally do it if I wasn't pregnant! Dang it... It sounds like a great motivator, and I love that you at least win your money back if you meet the goal, not just one big winner

@TemperanceBrennan: I'm interested to know your payout! I did some googling before signing up and saw that it was about 50% of the bet for one guy (there isn't a lot out there). I wanted to do the january - june 6 month one, but $150 was too high risk!

@OpinionsLikeKittens: @TemperanceBrennan: I've done 4, and each time it was about 50-60% of the people that met the goal. I did $25-30 bets and the least amount I won on top of my bet was about $10 and the most about $20. You can participate in up to three bets at a time, so you lose the same amount of weight once, but win three bets... I think that would be the strategy to make any significant money off of it.
