I think the idea of posting the "omg i'm gold!" threads is awesome! I was never jealous seeing them before I was gifted gold. I think the idea of the threads is to show the person who gifted you how much you appreciate it since you don't know who did it.
I've only been gold for a couple days so I've gotten to be on both sides and I think the boards are just as fun and active as they were before gold. -
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but on iphone (or at least the 4...) the archive menu only pulls down so far so I can't click to see only gold threads on my phone. So another tab or link would be great!

@winniebee: I usually click the word Archives so the menu comes up, then page down on the iPhone til it shows up?
Sorry, I know it's not convenient!! Does that work at all for now?

my hesitancy of upgrading had nothing to do with not wanting to support this site (love it here!) but the mere fact that i didn't have a paypal account...mr bee pointed out that you can actually pay with a credit card, so i did! -

I love the gold feature so far, and enjoy the threads and pictures. I'm still nervous to post a picture, but hopefully that will wear off when I am less of a new bee! I completely agree with what AprilK said. If I accidentally click on a gold thread before logging in, and THEN log in, I can't get into the thread without exiting back to the main screen and searching for the thread again. Is there any way of just refreshing the gold thread once we have logged in?
ETA: changed golf to gold.... I think I was just dreaming of summer and hitting the golf range!

I was gifted gold today!
As a classic bee, I felt like the vibe was mostly the same. I was a little hesitant to begin with. The initial rush of gold threads was a little off-putting but things leveled out and seem normal now.
I love seeing all of the pictures on gold threads. I've been posting on gold threads but haven't used the private wall posts yet.
I'd love to be able to delete my own pictures as a gold member. I think that feature is worth paying for on it's own!

Okay, I just read through the whole thread. I'd love to have notifications (like FB) when someone replies on a post or writes on my wall. That would be a great feature for HB (not just gold).

@Sweet T: you can subscribe to any thread and you will get a notification every time there's a comment! there is a link at the bottom of each post.
you should also get an email every time someone posts to your wall unless you deactivated the setting on your profile.

@Mrs. Bee: Oh, I do get the emails! I do like getting them but I don't always have my email open. I just meant I'd like having a notification bubble at the top.

What about allowing a few more deletes? I think we get 1 deleted post? Maybe 5? Too much of a pain?
