We are looking into minivans to accommodate our growing family... We test drove the sienna today and thought it was great, but haven't tested the odyssey yet.
Anyone have experience with either of these two minivans and which do you prefer? Thanks!!

We ended up getting the Toyota Sienna primarily because none of the Honda dealers could beat the price that we got for the Sienna. Also there were many more Siennas than Odysseys in stock which made it easier to negotiate the price. They both rate pretty equally on safety standards but I wanted the Odyssey because we've had many Hondas so I felt brand loyalty at that time. We are very happy with our Sienna and no regrets!

I have never driven a Sienna but I borrowed my MIL's Odyssey once and it drove like a dream!

We test drove both and went with the Odyssey. Honestly I don't remember the Sienna.... but we've always been a Honda family and we love our van.

My brother has the Odyssey and they and we love love love it!!! He had it a few years ago then had a "mid life crisis" and traded it for a audi then traded back for the Odyssey.
It rides sooo smooth and it can seat so many. Different heating zones, etc.
I'm secretly hoping he wants to trade it in soon so we can buy it off of him! hahha

My brother and SIL love their Odyssey. I work with a couple people that have them too and they don't have any complaints. Honda's are great cars.

I haven't driven either one, but I am a Honda fan. The cars are really built to last, and I have only heard great things about the Odyssey.

I am in love with the sienna. I am not ashamed to admit it is my "dream van" lol. I currently have an older (2002) mini van but we are looking to trade up once LO arrives.

I've never driven anything but a Honda made car, so I think I would go with the Odyssey. Those things are awesome!

We don't own one yet but are deciding between these two. I want the Sienna because I like its features/look better but DH is stuck on the Odyssey because their newest model gets the best MPG. So if that's something that's important to you, that's one thing to consider.

We just test drove the Odyssey and it had quite a few bells and whistles but it was also cheap, like the plastic on the dash and all over feel wasn't nice. Toyota seemed higher in quality and less noisy.

@heatherloveskenny - yea the bells and whistle (from my research online) makes the odyssey seem so nice... like how the 2nd row seats can extend wider if needed and the coolbox! did the odyssey's second row seats have the option of "stow-and-go" or do you have to physically take the seats out?

We test drove every minivan out there. We went with the odessey. It had a little more room in my opinion. Since we would have three backwards facing cars eats it really made a difference. The trunk was a little bigger and fit our double and single stroller better. I'm sure the car people thought I was crazy when I approached with three car seats and two strollers but hey I needed the best fit. One guy laughed and showed us a 15 passenger van. Not funny to the giant pregnant lady with infant in tow.

@Mrs. High Heels: we didn't try to fold down the second row but the third row had the "stow-and-go" ability which was nice and roomy. Loved the cool box!! They thought of everything parents want and need. It drove nice but it didn't win me over like the Toyota did.

@Oceanis723 - hahaha that's so funny, i can only imagine their reactions!
@heatherloveskenny - ok thanks! i like the way the sienna looks more than the odyssey and i am partial to toyota's, especially after reading so many case studies in school about how amazing toyota is as a company (i still have full faith in them despite the hiccups they had a few years ago).

@Mrs. High Heels: yeah it was a hassle and I know it was a spectacle but it was worth it. Some of them didn't have enough room between seats for all three seats facing backwards.
