If anyone is interested, I came across this petition on the White House website. It is a petition to get the teachers, who lost their lives defending their students at Sandy Hook Elementary, awarded the Medal of Freedom. This is the highest award a civilian can be awarded.

I know people may or may not agree with the petition but I wasn't aware of it so I thought I would post it here in case anyone does want to sign it.
