@agold: my brother gave me his City Select which is just a single stroller with the option of adding a second seat that makes it a tandem stroller. The double city select is a side by side stroller. At this time, I do not have plans on getting a side by side. I might get one later but not at this time.
@birdofafeather: oh, cool! Thank you so much for letting me know there are people who make stroller liners!

@bluestriped bee: we had the uppa baby vista for A and when I found out we were having lo2 I sold it and purchased the city select. i registered for the second seat and bassinet and can't wait to use with 2 babies since there are so many different configurations.

@bluestriped bee: Got it. I actually was only thinking of the tandem. I didn't know they made a double wide stroller. Either way. That's so exciting! And the etsy liners are adorable. That could be addicting.

Checking in on you. You must be 33 weeks now!? Only another week to go!

@littleredhairedgrl: Oh, the bassinet. You have to tell me if you like it.
@agold: I think a lot of the twin moms like the side by side. I think there's one that is slim enough to go through doors. Some like their twins to be able to hold hands and such. I think the tandem will work for now when the babies are infants. Maybe when they are a year old, I might get a side by side.
@winniebee: Babies and I are still doing good. Still moderate leaking but no contractions. I'm not quite at 33 weeks, yet. I will be 33 weeks on Friday. I'm close!

@bluestriped bee: I've heard the bugaboo is a slim side by side double stroller. But that one is so expensive.

@bluestriped bee: I think maybe you mean the City Mini double is side by side . I have the City Select and it's both a single and a double, depending on how you add the seats. But there's no side by side City Select.

@ShootingStar: oh, ok. Yeah, I know I have a city select with a second seat but wasn't sure if they had a name for the city select with a second seat. I know there is a double that is a side by side. (I think I have it in my head that when people say they have a double stroller that it's usually a side by side.) City mini, city select and my sister has the city versa or something. Can't get my head straight on all the different models. Unless it says tandem, it's difficult for me to distinguish what it is.

33 weeks today!!!!!!
Babies and I are doing great. No signs of infection. Still moderate leaking (U/s showed baby A's fluid at 1.4 and baby B (boy) at 5.6) but DR is not concerned because they will continue to make more fluid.) She's seen babies with no fluid last a long time.
So she said since I don't feel any contractions, that I should make it to 34 weeks!!
7 days!!!

@bluestriped bee: awesome!! You're doing great.
Sorry if you've already mentioned, but if at 34 weeks you're still cooking them and everything looks fine, will they let you keep going or is it better to induce? Just curious!

Thanks everyone!
@Mrs. Champagne: To answer your question, since my water has been broken for a while now, 34 weeks will be when the induction will start. After 34 weeks, there's an increase risk of infection for me so at that point, it's safer for the babies to be out than in. The babies were given a dose of steroids to help speed up lung development so they should okay when they are delivered.

@bluestriped bee: that's great! I can't believe how far you've made it in the hospital! Hope you have a smooth induction

@bluestriped bee: Hope you had a great weekend and are getting ready to welcome the babies!
Do you have any indication yet if they will induce right at 34w or if they will schedule it based on your OB schedule and NICU space?
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@Mrs. Champagne: @snowjewelz: Thank you!
@T.H.O.U.: So the plan right now is to aim for Friday if there is Nicu space. If not, we'll go day by day.

@bluestriped bee: Soooo close mama! I'm keeping you in my thoughts that the next few days fly by and you are holding those babies by the end of the week!

So tomorrow my OB will check the nicu and hopefully see if I will be induced on Friday or wait a day.
Today she told me that the OB on call on Saturday and Monday is comfortable with doing a breech extraction. Which is good. If an OB is not comfortable with the procedure, it would mean I would have a higher chance of a c-section. So right now both babies are head down which is a good sign for both babies to be delivered vaginally. If baby A (girl) is delivered vaginally, they'll check to see what happens to baby B. It might be possible that baby B will love the extra room and go from head down to breech. If that happens, OBs will decide to do a breech extraction or c-section. (Yes, there might be a chance that I'll have one baby born vaginally and the other by c-section. Other people might decide to go with c-section to deliver both babies. Some of you might think I'm nuts at considering the possibility of recovering from a vaginal and c-section... But right now with both babies head down, my odds are somewhat favorable for two vaginal births.)

I've always known about breech extractions but my OB today wanted me to know the possible risks. It's possible that the second baby can be pulled out but the cervix might clamp down on the babies head. In that case, they will have to cut my cervix. Yup, something I didn't think about. (Is that an episiotomy? I'll ask my OB tomorrow.)
So the OB on call on Friday and Sunday is currently out of town so I won't know her experience with breech extraction until the induction... if it starts on Friday. So I will just have to wait til Friday.
So yeah, reading about the breech extraction and seeing the pictures does make me nervous.
Really at this point, I just have to remember to stay calm and to go with the flow. Maybe I'll go into labor on my own tomorrow (unlikely, since I feel little to no contractions). Maybe the babies flip and don't stay head down and I'll have to do a c-section. Maybe both will stay head down and I deliver both vaginally.
Anyway, tomorrow might be my last day that I'll be pregnant! Nervous, excited, anxious, but not too stressed. Let's see how I feel tomorrow...
Ugh! Just thought of it... Imagine if I find out they have to delay my induction by a day and I have to feel this way for another day.
Gotta keep thinking... Whatever happens, I can deal with it. I can do this, I can do this. I can wait another day if I have to...
