We are taking a tour of the hospital tonight! I've never stepped foot in this hospital before, but I've heard great things about it so I am looking forward to it! And they feed you during the tour - yay!

oh, how exciting! how far along are you again? do they have a particular time frame that they want you to take the tour?

fun! i can't wait to do one when I register at hospital, even though I have been up there several times in the past few months visiting friends. I have to wait a couple more weeks until I hit 36 weeks.

@birdofafeather: I'm 21 weeks now, and I assume I will probably be one of the earliest ones there (expecting everyone else to be in the 30s). No time frame was given as to when to see the hospital.
I'm waiting until later on to do classes and such, but I absolutely need to do something about seeing the hospital to quell some of this anxiety (I've never stayed overnight in a hospital, I've never seen the inside of this one). I don't really care that I'm going "early".

@highwire: yeah, i totally get it! DH will be in school FT (3 hours away!) for the last 4 months of my pregnancy, so I plan on asking my OB when the soonest we can take the tour will be!

Fun! We do ours on the 28th (along with our birthing class.) I have been there several times though for friend's deliveries so I have seen the family room, and I've done the virtual tour of the birthing suites, so I have a pretty good idea of what it will be like.

We are doing ours in two weeks and I'm really excited. I used to volunteer in this hospital so I know it well. But I was up on the NICU and never went to the L&D floor so I'm looking forward to just getting familiar with the area so I can picture where we'll be delivering.
