I tend to run a little warm but ever since I got pregnant, I could keep my house at a cool 60+ degrees and be happy! Now I'm 40 weeks pregnant and sweltering. I'm hoping once the baby is born, I can acclimate to a 70+ temp in our house!
Anyone else experience crazy hot flashes while pregnant?

I was pregnant in the middle of summer in Florida. I was miserable unless I was in the pool (which was often).

I used to wake up drenched in sweat when I was pregnant with my first. And I hardly ever sweat. Those pregnancy hormone are no joke!

@obxwife: Like I said, a lot of swimming and I tried to stay inside. My husband was always annoyed that I kept the air so low, but now that LO is here and he gets to hold her he understands. She still gives off so much heat!

@obxwife: I'm guessing it's pregnancy hormones. I can't sleep with covers on anymore and am happy with just the sheet (I'm normally freezing all the time)! Even with just the sheet now I wake up sweating. I hear you sweat a lot after the baby is born but then things should go back to normal.

I gained 50+lbs so I was non stop hot and sweaty towards the end! Good thing I gave birth in March. Woulda died in the summer.

Yes! Lately I have been waking up soaking wet. It freaked me out the first time because I thought my water broke (I'm not quite 27 weeks!) but my whole body - face to butt was drenched!

I JUST started to get hot flashes last week! I'm never hot so I was convinced the room was hot but I checked the thermostat and turns out it was just me

@pastemoo: Seriously drenched. Weirdest thing ever. Happened 2 nights in a row, but not last night. DH said that in first trimester I was a human furnace, but don't feel as hot lately. Until the night sweats...

For the past several months, I've been really warm. Male coworkers will complain about how cold a room is and I think its at the perfect. My husband is freezing at night and I'm burning up.

@obxwife: Thanks... =\ Glad we got a new air conditioning unit installed a few months ago. It's gonna be a HOT summer, I can tell. yikes.

Yep, I sweat way more now. I'm so happy I wasn't really pregnant in the summer (just the first 2 months) because I'd be dying right now. I still have moments when I get cold, but for the most part I'm pretty warm.
