House, love it. Though we lived in a condo until a year ago and I miss not having to clean so much!

apartment. It's a temp home until we move. I can't wait to own a house with a yard!

We own a 1 bedroom apartment (condo) in the city but we don't live in it. We rent a house-style townhouse (it used to be a single family but our landlords built an addition kitty-corner to the house to create another unit) and it's nice and large, but I hate it because there's no yard and it's right in front of a busy intersection. I can't wait til winter comes so the motorcycles go away...

Apartment. Sigh. If we could afford to buy a house we would, but we can't right now.

Townhouse. Miss our old house so much, but we owned then. This is a rental.

We're in a townhouse right now (renting). My man travels 90% for work, so it actually is working out great right now (no need to worry about lawn/snow/maintenance/etc.). We ARE getting a little antsy about moving into a house though...

4 story townhouse. I still love it because the location is great and we have so much storage space, but DH wants to move at the end of the year. He's sick of paying our expensive condo fees.

We're currently in a three story townhouse that we got a screamin' deal on rent-wise, and we're pretty happy with it. Would we like to move to our own detached house one day? Yes, but it's still MILES better than when we lived in an apartment.

Renting an apartment for one more year. Then hopefully we will have all the savings we need to buy a house!

Renting a townhouse, saving up a down payment for a house! Can't wait.

We own our home, which we love. Unfortunately I only get to spend weekends there. We also rent an apartment and it's eh compared to our home.

Apartment, wish we had more space. I used to have a duplex (also rented) before marriage /moving, and I really miss the space and the yard.

House and love it. I told DH I am never living in a condo again. Ever. I will always pull up in my driveway and walk right into my front door with my groceries. No more elevators.

Detached Condo (essentially looks and acts like a house but is part of a condo association) and love it!

renting a townhouse.
we owned a house in upstate NY and it took forever to sell. we want to stay in Boston but finding the right house/condo to purchase is so hard, we've looked at about 20 and have another couple we're looking at again tonight.
