We both work full time but Dh has much longer hours and commutes as he travels locally.

Childcare is my mom and we both do our share of drop offs and pickups depending on the day.

Indoor household chores is usually me but Dh has been helping me lately

Outdoor household chores is usually all Dh but I shovel snow or mow the lawn sometimes to help out.

Shopping is usually evenly split since we try to go together. And we equally do random one off stops.

Bills, Dh does more of the big family bills while I do smaller household bills.

Planning is equal. I do more planning w vacations etc, he does more with big purchases like cars and/or refinancing.

I think we're equally balanced with a lil more on my end because Dh's new job and increased hours and load at work. Which we both planned on going into it. He does a lot to try and give me a break on wknds etc.

Work: DH works more and makes more than me.
Childcare: n/a

Household chores (outdoor): both of us. I push the lawnmower, he weedeats and tends to the flower beds
Shopping - groceries, etc. : me
Bills/Financials: both of us. He pays the bills, I balance the budget. Together we decide on investments and savings.
Long term planning: both of us.

We talk about our balance quite a bit just to be sure we're both happy and nothing needs adjusting. Currently neither of us have any complaints.

Work: We both work, although I have a longer commute.
Childcare: DH does all of the drop offs, and 2/3 the pick ups
Household chores (indoor): DH does laundry and vacuuming, I do almost everything else. Cooking is split 50/50
Household chores (outdoor): DH does almost all of these - I have severe allergies.

I like bills and financials, so they don't seem like a chore to me. I think we're pretty evenly split, and whenever we're overwhelmed, we help the other out!

Work: I'm on maternity leave. DH went back to work yesterday. So DH.
Childcare: I do 100% of childcare. Until DH gets home, then he does bedtime with #1.
Household chores (indoor):100% DH. I'm nursing a newborn and recovering from a c-section. The only chore I do is laundry folding right now.
Household chores (outdoor): DH is responsible for snow shoveling. Not too much outdoor maintenance right now.
Shopping - groceries, etc.: 50/50 we do it together

Long term planning: 100% me

Work: Both full time, but I work less hours and have more time off.
Childcare: When I am home, I take care of Liam. My husband takes him to school two days per week and I pick him up. We have a nanny for the other 3 days per week.

Household chores (outdoor): He does almost all of it.
Shopping - groceries, etc.: Mostly me.

Long term planning - Slightly more me. I'm more of a planner, but I always want his input and approval for things, especially booking hotels. I usually do a lot of research and then ask him to make the final decision and book it. I was the one who researched and applied for preschools, though.

Work: We both work FT, outside of the house (*DH works at home as well with a more flexible schedule than my traditional 8-5)

Childcare: I do dropoff and pickup, but only because LO’s daycare is on my work campus. Otherwise, we would split.

Household chores (indoor): DH does at least 90% of the cleaning.

Household chores (outdoor): We hire out – have a lawn service and a guy who plows when it snows. We split whatever small things remain.

Shopping: DH does more during the week, I do a big weekend trip. DH does most of the cooking.

Bills/Financials: I handle everything.

Long term planning - Stuff like picking daycares/schools, planning vacations/trips, etc.: I do most of the research and legwork and keep more of a longterm mental calendar. I prepare options and present them to DH and we discuss and come to conclusion. Or usually he just takes my lead, since I’ve done the research.

Our balance is kind of messed up right now because I'm pregnant. I had decided I wanted to be one and done, but my husband really wanted more, so when I got pregnant, my husband assured me that he would work hard to make it easy on me. He's also ramping up his training for the next cyclocross season, so he's been asking for time to go do that. My morning sickness has really started now at 13 weeks (lucky me!), so I'm having a hard time.

All of which culminated in a big crying mess last night when he hadn't done a bunch of housework that he'd promised to do, and was about to head out the door to go ride. Yikes. He got the message, so things should feel more balanced around here from now.

Work: Both, but I have off on Friday
Childcare: DH drops them off, I pick them up.
Household chores (indoor): Mostly me, but DH cleans dishes after dinner and does 1/2 the laundry.

Long term planning - This is always done together except for financial long term stuff like investing etc. DH does most of that.

One not on your list: cooking- unless that is a household chore. I do all of the cooking and getting lunches together.
I think we are pretty balanced in our house.

Work: DH works full-time
Childcare: Mostly me because I SAH, but my DH gets up with DD at night to resettle her (I am a deep sleeper!), gets her breakfast in the morning, and does bath and bedtime routine at night.
Household chores (indoor): I do the cooking, laundry, general cleaning day to day. DH does all the dishes, vacuuming, kitty litter, garbage, recycling and deep cleans the bathrooms. He will do his own laundry too (but this makes me crazy).
Household chores (outdoor): DH manages the yard, I take care of the garden.
Shopping - groceries, etc.: Almost all me.
Bills/Financials - I maintain all the bills and bank accounts, and do the taxes. But I used to be an accountant - I've done all of this since we moved in together, its just my thing! DH checks in on it occasionally.
Long term planning - I do most of the leg work on anything long term, because I'm a Type A planner. I do most of the planning for our daughter when it comes to activities, preschool, dr appointments etc. DH plans all his stuff (which is more than either of our fathers did, so I call it a win?), and will plan for vacations that he is excited for (Europe, anything sports related) vs ones that are more my thing (such as Disney or the beach). We make all the final decisions together.

It feels pretty balanced to me. We were actually less in sync and balanced when I was working, so it has been nice to see us become a team.

Work: I am on maternity leave and DH is working two jobs with super long commutes and going to business school so he is VERY busy. He's a beast.

Childcare: Mostly me but my mom comes 3 days a week and she is a huge help. DH likes to do set tasks with DS like bathtime and story and taking him for a stroller walk. DH is also good about watching DS when I need to run errands but I usually time them for naps.

Household chores (indoor): We both do laundry although I fold more and me and my mom do all the cooking and organizing. DH does garbage and recycling and vacuuming. I do bathrooms.

Household (outdoors): Our lawn guy. DH handles any maintenance requests with our landlord and he handles all the car stuff.

Shopping: Me

Bills/Financial: Most of this is automated but mostly DH. We do set up our budget together.

Long term planning: Financial is DH. Other things like schools and housing is joint. Vacations and travel is me.

Work: Both, though I have a longer workday
Childcare: Who watches the kids. Or if kids are in school/daycare, who drops them off and picks them up: I do all drop offs and morning meets while he does all afternoon pick ups, reliefs. 3 days/week, he's watched by my dad or FIL and 2 days he's in day care.
Household chores (indoor): 50/50 - He dusts and vacuums while I'll clean the bathrooms and kitchen. We each hate doing the other's responsibility, so it works out well.
Household chores (outdoor): He takes care of the yard and I take care of our flower beds.
Shopping - groceries, etc.: DH does this mostly b/c he loves it. I certainly don't mind!
Bills/Financials - I mostly take care of this though he's learning just in case something happens to me
Long term planning - Stuff like picking daycares/schools, planning vacations/trips, etc. Fully 50/50. We make all of these decisions and plans together.

Work:We both work, though I work out of the house and DH works out of our house - he's in sales. So my daily routine is more rigid, though he occasionally has out of town trips.
Childcare: Right now we have a babysitter and DH does the drop off/pickup 90% of the time. When I have #2 and go back to work, we are going back to a daycare and I will do drop off/pickup 90% of the time.
Household chores (indoor): 70% me. I do all the laundry and heavy duty cleaning; he folds his own laundry and occasionally runs the sweeper/picks up. He takes care of all dog-related issues. And I've never trimmed L's nails. We swap cooking and cleaning up from dinner.
Household chores (outdoor) - 90% DH. We have an aboveground pool, he does all the mowing. I pick up dog poop and help rake/weed/shovel when I'm not pregnant.
Shopping - groceries, etc. - 99% me. I do all shopping (retail, pharmacy and grocery) for the family, he buys his own clothes and occasionally will pick up small things at the grocery store.
Bills/Financials - 99% me.
Long term planning - the boring stuff like daycares/schools/pediatricians/etc., that's all me. He takes more initiative to plan vacations and fun things.

Work: DH works full time
Childcare: I watch the kids while he works, but he watches them in the AM before work so I can rest after being up nursing all night with the baby, and we spend off time together with the kids.

I feel we have a very 50/50 relationship, and I love it.

Work: DH works, I'm back in school.
Childcare: I do drop-offs, DH picks-up.
Household chores (indoor): I do almost all the vacuuming unless we get visitors, I also do most of the cleaning, I put away the laundry, he usually runs the wash and leaves them in the laundry room for days! He's been good with the kitchen lately and have been loading/running the dishwasher. I clean the main bathroom, he deals with all trash, recycling and runs the fireplace. Lately, we both cook, which I really appreciate
Household chores (outdoor): DH shovels snow, takes out the trash, composts, mows, digs, and does all the heavy planting, and chops wood.
Shopping - groceries, etc: I do all gift, clothes, decor shopping. We do big shopping runs together, but he regularly picks up a few necessities (like bread, butter, fruit, etc.) a few times a week.
Bills/Financials - DH pays the bills, though I've made it a point to figure it out how to do it (easier said than done - we abroad and their banking system is complicated and not in English).
Long term planning - Stuff like picking daycares/schools, planning vacations/trips, etc.: I do all long term planning.
