I can't complain! I'm not at work today, so I'm happy.

Laying on the couch. I'm absolutely exhausted.
J is napping. When he gets up we'll have lunch and head to the post office. Just kinda hanging out today.

The day is just starting for me. I'm in bed on HB so it's a good one so far.

I'm pooped! I slept horribly last night and have no idea why I was so restless. Which makes me unmotivated for work. No bueno!

Pretty good because I don't have to work, but I do have lots of errands to run and things to get done inside the house. Of course it's finally a gorgeous day outside, so INSIDE is the last place I want to be!

I'm feeling a little icky today. I overdid it doing the garden in the blazing hot sun yesterday and I haven't felt right since. I finished work early today though and I have tomorrow off so I can't really complain! I wanted to finish the garden tomorrow but now its raining - stupid English weather - so I may have to chill after all!

I used up all of my patience by about 8:30am today, so now i'm just gritting my teeth and waiting until 2:30 so I can leave early (for a painful foot doctor appointment an hour away, woot!)
but on a happy note.. my diaper bag came in today!

I'm feeling stressed today. My dog is very sick and we dropped her off at the vet this morning so I'm worried about her. I'm also stressing about finding a daycare for DS.

Ugh. I went to the doctor's office today for a sinus infection. I hate getting weighed. I know that I gained a lot during breastfeeding. I hate seeing it. Luckily, she didn't mention it. So, now I'm determined to do yoga, eat better, change my BC, and maybe wait longer to TTC. I really want to TTC, but I'm afraid of this extra weight I'm carrying could cause problems.

Excellent! M gifted me by STTN last night. And this weekend we are heading up to OH to spend the weekend with my aunts, uncles and cousins and my mom is flying in too. I can't wait!

Good! Although Xander woke up at 4:00 and refused to go back to sleep until I nursed him (at which point, I had to be up for the day, blerg). But it's my Friday, so I'm excited, which makes the day good! Plus this weekend is a bachelorette party, so I'm stoked!

Blech. Had to leave a meeting this morning to hurl & now all I can do is dream of my bed. I'd leave work but I have soo much today. Wow, I sound like such a debbie downer!

Ready to go on vacation at the end of June and be done with all this work for a week!

Pretty good, I'm just SO.GLAD it's almost Friday. I'm also hoping DH gets word on a job he's been interviewing for because I hate being in limbo! It would require us to make a really big move, and he's done about eight different interviews, been flown out to the place where the job is located, done more interviews, and they still haven't made a final decision. Exhausting!

Pretty good today!!! E just took a good nap and he's waking up in his crib right now. I'm about to go get him and then head out to my parents' house to water their plants and swim (they're out of town)! I'm excited to spend some time out in the sun with my little guy

Not good. R has a cold and not having a good day at day care. She has only eaten 3.5 ozs from 2 bottles (5.50zs down the drain). The teacher said she just wants to sleep but keeps waking up every 30 mins. I am leaving work a little early to go get her.
I want to be the one comforting her, not stuck at work.

Not awesome. It's been a rough week around here. E's sleep is slipping back into bad and he's been really really cranky and clingy.

Hallelujah! DH's officially on summer vacation for 5 whole weeks! I am exhausted but kind of giddy at the same time

@LovelyPlum: oh I hope your dog feels better soon! Ours is a little serious. We took her to the vet this morning. She had a high fever and was severely dehydrated. They are keeping her for a couple of days.

God-freaking-awful. I was up half the night at an (amazing, totally worth it) concert, and today I am dragging serious ass. And I made a lunch date, so I'll have to wake my daughter up early from her nap. Oy. These are all good things, but I feel like crap.

not actually doing so good--I'm really, really homesick! I just moved abroad temporarily last week and it's been much harder than I expected
I'm basically going to be away from home until December, save for a few short trips back home for friends' weddings, and I miss dh and our dogs like crazy. Plus I'm feeling really jealous that my parents fly almost as far to see my nieces like once a month but aren't planning on coming to visit me at all--I understand that grandchildren are way exciting, of course, but I'm really lonely over here, I don't really know anyone and dh can only come out here a couple times

@LovelyPlum: aww thanks lady! dh will be here to visit in just over 2 weeks so I keep telling myself that it will get easier. I joined a gym here, so between that and the research I'm keeping busy. And I know I'm doing what I need to be doing, it's not like I'd be happier if I went home because then I'd need a whole new dissertation topic and that's definitely a more overwhelming prospect than being away from home, haha!

I live 100 miles away but I work in London 2 days a week - what a shame I'm going on maternity leave in a week's time!! I'm down there Tuesday if you are free for a coffee, perhaps? My office is in Islington but I will have a tube pass thingy?

Kind of stressed. Moving and packing is not fun, plus we are supposed to leave Monday, but the car is in the shop and they dont think it will be ready by then, which throws off the whole timeline. Boo.

@Cherrybee: aww you're too sweet! and that's so, so exciting that your leave starts so soon! I'm living in Earl's Court while I do research here for my phd dissertation out near Kew Gardens. It'd be great to get coffee on Tuesday, though it might be a bit too far in the middle of the day--maybe morning or evening?
