Either "good" or "tired"

With my 2nd, fine or good because that was the truth.

With my 1st, honestly. You could take one look at me and see that I would be lying if I said good or fine. So it was usually uncomfortable, tired, or ready.

I felt good for most of my pregnancy. I was sick a bit in the first trimester, but I only threw up around 10 times (which I consider pretty good considering a lot of other women I know were way sicker and threw up 3-4 times a day) and then I felt good up until my last week being pregnant (when I was a week overdue), which was the only week I'd say I actually felt bad lol.

I'd say "good" to most people. To people closer to me (DH, family) I might elaborate a bit, to them I usually said "Good, actually! I'm not really that sore or anything!"

I had a great pregnancy, so I usually just said everything was feeling good. When I was feeling nauseous, I would say something like, "I'm relatively good ... Only puked once this week!"

I pretty much always say "pretty good" unless it's my mom, sister or husband asking

Right now my response has been "it's going really well, just tired!"

Depends what trimester. For people I know I respond:
First trimester = utterly exhausted
Second trimester = excited, energetic
Third trimester = impatient lol

For people who should really know better since they were aware I had both GD and HG, like family and friends, I was really sick of answering this question and just started saying, "I guess as well as can be expected considering that I'm a needlephobe who has to check my blood sugar four times a day and has been hospitalized multiple times to get IV fluids..." and I can recall once or twice that I added on, "Plus there's the gestational diabetes diet, the twice a week stress tests, and the fact that I've already thrown up X times today. Oh, and the people who look at me like some terrible mother or pregnant person for not enjoying all of that." <--- Trust me, they deserved a snarky response. I'll spare you the long story.

For people who were just trying to be polite I always just said fine, or if it was a really bad day I'd just say, "Feeling ready to be done!" or, "I'm hanging in there."

Whenever people asked me how i was feeling, I always answered "Pregnant"
Example: Hey Apex, how are you feeling?
Me: Pregnant
In the 3rd tri, my answer changed to "Very Pregnant" I couldn't think of any other fitting response. Tired just did not cut it, and i'm sure people didn't want to hear the full lowdown of my twin pregnancy, lol.

I'm finishing my first trimester and I'm having good days and bad. I'm hearing a lot that I look awful or pissed off. And those people don't even know I'm pregnant. So I tell those people that I'm not feeling well.

I tell my mommy friends the truth when they ask but I tell most people "fine" as long as the expression on my face matches.

I always say "Fine, how are you?"

Occasionally people will do a little bit of a double-take, like they're irritated that I would imply there's anything wrong with asking about how a pregnant person is feeling. But I really don't know what else to do with the constant inquiries. When you ask a pregnant person how she's feeling (particularly in the 5-7 weeks between when I announced and when I actually started to feel some symptom relief), you're asking about her nausea, her exhaustion, her gassiness and constipation, her constant urination, her sciatica pain, her insomnia, her general misery, and unless you know her really well and are genuinely concerned, what on earth are you hoping to hear about from her? I give people a lot of benefit of the doubt in creating small talk and that they all really mean well, but getting this question over and over again every day for weeks really makes me to start to question. Like what do you want me to say?

So I'm sticking with "Fine, how are you." (At least now that I'm in the happy days of the later-2nd-trimester, it's true now. I feel pretty good! For now. Don't ask me in the third tri.)

I usually say, "pretty good," regardless. I never got really sick in my first trimester, though.

First tri: "Not bad, just really tired!"
Second tri: "Still pretty tired, but can't complain!"
Third tri: "Feeling pretty pregnant."

I have HG so I look terrible and whenever anyone asks, I just say "horrible" and leave it at that!

@LindsayInNY: what's wrong with saying "good" or "fine"? I think they're just trying to make polite small talk... I just went with something vague and a smile.

I was really sick during almost all of my pregnancy, and talking about it got old fast. Instead, I usually answered "Excited to meet the baby!" It was still a positive answer, but was true to the fact that I was absolutely miserable while pregnant.

Close friends and family got details...

I say I feel better! It's true and it makes everyone (including me) feel okay about the conversation.

"Fat and happy!"

Ha! All I can remember are the days I was overdue and just wanted to flip the inquirer off
