70" and at least once a week DH says "we should have got the 80 inch" He is really itching for a bigger TV now there is a 90" on the market with a decent refresh rate. Oh boy!

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: my DH is always bugging me about getting a 90 inch TV! There's no way.
Ours is 60". I think it's too big. My DH thinks it's too small!

55" and it feels just right for our space. Though, I do regret not spending the extra cash for a nicer one.

60, and I think its a big ugly eye sore, but it makes DH happy so whatever, I live with it.

55" and it's a fine size. It looks a little smaller than I thought it would, but it's plenty big

Better hide this post from DH! All your tvs are bigger, haha. we have a 42" that is perfect for our living room and the distance from our couch. He always talks about getting a bigger one and I keep resisting, haha.

I thought ours was huge and I frequently roll my eyes about it, but I guess I'm in good company! Ours is 60" and our living room is not big. We got a good deal on it and DH loves is, but he does say he wants a bigger one someday. It's ridiculous.

60" but we could have gone bigger our LR is huge with very high ceilings..

42". A nice size for our family room, though I still lament the big ugly black hole it creates. TVs are SO not feng shui.

We have a 48 inch 3D TV above the fireplace in the upstairs and a 52 inch in the basement.

@Mrs. Jacks: I miss not having a TV! Before marrying DH, DS and I were living with my mom and hadn't had a TV in like 5 years.
@Bao: I think it's a 38". Big enough for our space!

Ours is also 47" and I like it, I wouldn't want a bigger one unless we had a much much larger space.

@runsyellowlites: you don't realize how much time it sucks until it's gone.

@Mrs. Jacks: So true! Thankfully we don't have cable so unless I get on a Netflix kick I don't watch too much but still I can tell I waste SO much more time now than I did before. Boo!

47.
I could never imagine anything bigger. I hate tv.
Y'all have huugggeee tvs!
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
@mrsmenow: Ours is 3d too. We rented five 3d DVDs, two were filmed in 3d and the others.converted. We were not blown away and I Found the 3d glasses annoying. Bloody Valentine was good though. Do you like it?

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: We watch mostly with our kid's videos and those are pretty cool. I have always thought Avatar would be cool in 3D. I think it is just ok. I get a headache from it most of the time-so that sucks:(

We just have an old tube tv we got on craigslist for $10, haha. It is not huge, but not small. We'll get a nice TV once we know where we'll be moving!
grapefruit / 4671 posts
@LivsMama: We have a 55 inch 3d led too. I think it is too big for our 680 sq ft NYC apt but DH disagrees. He would go bigger if I'd let him.
coconut / 8854 posts
We have a 42" in our living room, and a 32" in our bedroom. We hardly watch the one in our bedroom though. Pretty much only when I'm folding laundry.

It's 50". DH just said "the cool thing now is to buy a 60"" but that would be way too big for our tiny city apt! Our couch is exactly 10 feet from the TV so any bigger would make me feel like I was in the front row of the movie theater, haha.
