We live in New York, my parents live in Los Angeles, Mr. Bee's parents live in the Philippines, and he has a grandma in Japan. So our family is all very far away!
How close are your parents/grandparents? Do you wish they lived closer?

We're 10,200 miles away from DH's parents in the UK and 8900 miles away from my family in the US. Sigh, Australia is just so darn far from everywhere! We'll be moving to the UK (hopefully!) or US in the next year or two so at least we'll be closer to one set of grandparents for our DD.

We live in PA, my parents live in TX and my grandparents live in TX and IA. DH's grandmother lives in NC, but his parents live about 30 minutes away from us, so we see them on a regular basis. I wouldn't mind my mother living closer, but I'm glad my dad and stepmom are so far away.

We live about 15 minutes away from my parents and 25 minutes from my grandmother. I'm satisfied with our distance.

Me and my parents share a back fence. I have jumped the fence many a time to come for a visit ( I have since stopped because my dad got mad last time lol). My maternal grandma lives 20 minutes away, my paternal grandparents live 30 minutes away. My inlaws live 8-10 hours away. Heaven!!!!

We're in Canada and our parents our in England, so pretty far away. DH has lots of family in Spain too, but we've actually seen a lot of them over the past few years as we and several of DH's siblings got married in Spain.

I live minutes away from my parents and about 25 minutes away from my in-laws. Of course my in-laws think that we live so far away from them, but DH passes their house everyday to work... so it's really not that far.

We live in Colorado, my parents live in WI and his live in WA. I have one grandma who lives in TN. I wish my parents were closer!

Far! In laws are 2 hour flight, my parents are across the pond, so 20 hours in flight time. I definitely wish we were closer, and I know they would love to spend more time with LO and we would love having some family we can rely on close by.

We live pretty close to everyone! My parents are 10 minutes away and my grandparents live in a house on the same property as my parents sooooo they're 10 minutes away too. MIL is 15 minutes away and FIL is 20 minutes away.

My parents are in NY, we are in TX. DH's parents are in FL. We have no family around here I really don't like it. But, the kind of life we can give our babies here is not the kind of life they would get in NY (of FL but I really wouldn't want to live there).

Pretty far! We live in Chicago, my parents and MIL live 10 minutes apart in Northern California, my FIL and both sets of my husband's grandparents live in Taiwan, and I have a grandma who travels between Malaysia and Australia. I wouldn't mind living closer to my dad, in-laws, and all of our grandparents, but am content with the current distance from my mother :/.

My parents live 90 minutes away from us and my in-laws (including hubby's grandparents) live an hour away. I wish everyone was about 30-45 minutes away instead so they could see LO every weekend instead of every other weekend. I remember going to my grandparents frequently when I was little since they only lived 20 minutes away.

My parents are a 4 hour plane ride away and my ILs are about a 2 hour drive. My one grandma is back east, and my DH's grandparents are 2 hours and 4 hours away, respectively. We are still having the conversation about if it makes sense to be closer to family if and when we add LO#2 to the mix--probably to my parents as they are more demographically available.

We live in Oregon. My in-laws are in Washington state. My parents and all of our grandparents are in Arizona (where we're originally from). I really wish we lived closer, especially because one of my grandfathers is sick right now. I wouldn't move back to AZ anytime soon, but I wish it were easier to see my parents and our extended families.

My parents and in laws are across town, about 12 miles away. I see my mom a lot. She actually babysits for me 2 days a week. My grandma lives 9 hrs away. I see her maybe once a year.
