With A since we were accidentally told, we decided to have fun with it and open a big box with pink balloons at the end of our baby shower. This time around, we will just tell friends and family via phone/in person. How did you announce the gender?

Bad picture, but we do Friday night dinners with DH's family, so we had it our house, and when it was time for dessert I brought out pink cupcakes + the 'It's A Girl' from a paint chip

@Bao: I even ended up using the top color to paint her room Then I took it work and taped it up in my cubicle so I wouldn't get 100 questions about it every day

We had a gender reveal party, with a cake that was blue inside. To show friends and family on facebook we posted DD's reaction to the blue cake she said "but I don't want it to be blueeeeeee" It was hilarious!

We just told people. We had an US pic on fb for people far away...it was also the first mention that we were expecting. That was at 19 weeks.

Well, we were TG, so ours was coupled with the birth announcement. DH and MIL called their side and mine, and then on Facebook we said something like "Dave and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our SON, Evan Charles, height/weight/time etc)"

Ours will be with the birth announcement unless we decide to tell people for Christmas.
