Both of us were med free vaginal births in a hospital (b/c Dad refused a home birth!).

My mom had me vaginally but it was a pretty difficult birth and they wound up having to use forceps, breaking my collarbone in the process! I had a tiny little baby sling till it healed.

With my brothers, she had a c-section - they are twins who somehow managed to get to three days overdue (past 40 weeks, not twin full term). One of them was breech, but even if he hadn't been, a c-section probably would have been for the better, because as far as I know they still hold the record for the largest twins ever born at that hospital, nearly 30 years on...almost 20 pounds of baby!
