I'm 37 weeks into my second pregnancy. In both pregnancies I've felt the need to remodel and paint parts of our house. With the first pregnancy we ripped out all the carpet and installed laminate flooring and repainted the whole house. This time we've removed kitchen cabinets and installed a dishwasher and repainted two rooms so far. I still want to repaint my hall too. I guess I nest with a paint brush in hand! How did you nest while pregnant?

We moved when I was 37 weeks and had the house painted. Then I spent the last few weeks arranging , rearranging....
Then I made 30 freezer meals one afternoon and went into labor that night!

I'm barely in my second trimester, so I don't know if this can be considered nesting, but I had a complete freak out this weekend about the amount of clutter in our house.
Mr. P is a total pack rat (ok, and I'm not much better), and I'm convinced that it's going to take 6 months just to clear out the nursery and basement! I've been on a clear out and throw away rampage, and I can tell this will be a running theme for the whole pregnancy. I would LOVE to paint, though, once I've got all of the crap out of the house!

@Ms.Pumpkin: earlier in my pregnancy I had the purge urge too lol. I went through every area and threw a ton away! Since then I've been in a lull until the urge to paint kicked in

I'm 36 weeks and I don't think I've started nesting yet. I've done stuff... but I'm always sort of a do-er around the house (crafty projects, keeping things clean-ish, etc). Nothing out of the ordinary for me so far... maybe I fail as a pregnant person

I painted the lounge when I was 37 weeks! But mostly it was cleaning for me - I was a total cliche, scrubbing the skirting boards! I also had the urge to sort things, to catagorise and fold and organise!

Haha! I did a lot of cleaning and baking! DH wasn't complaining.
