hehe I asked DH this last year and he said do "Mom" and "Dad" because when they're older they won't be calling us mommy and daddy!

@chopsuey: I'm making stocking with our names on them. My parent's had their names on them and I see no reason not to do the same!

This is our first Christmas as a married couple and in a house and with a baby (we had a big year, can you tell? ) so we don't actually have stockings yet. I think we'll do some variation of "mom" and "dad".

Good question! I will have to ask DH what he wants ours to say. Going to order some from pottery barn.

Our names. I actually prefer mom and dad but I have stepkids and they don't call me mom

I made stockings for DH and me before kids were on the horizon, so I used our first names because that's what we call each other. LO's stocking is now made and I'll add the first name to it once we know which name to use (we're team green)!

I ordered our stockings last year when she was just a few months old. I chose what she'll call us: Pappa (they spell it with two p's here) and Mommy. But since then, I've never referred to myself as Mommy. I only say Mama. I'm thinking of redoing it.

I voted other because ours aren't personalized. We just go by the design of the stocking. That's how we always did it growing up so that's what I did too!
