When you find out someone has unfriended you on social media? Usually the only time I notice is if someone stops showing up in my news feed and when I go look for them they are gone... it always makes me a little sad! lol! I wonder what made them change their mind about being my 'friend'

It doesn't really bother me. Most of the time it is just someone from high school that I haven't seen or spoken to in years.

I usually don't notice, but the one time I did it really hurt my feelings. It was a friend from college and we were still somewhat in each other's lives, but one day she unfriended all of us from the same circle except for one.

It makes me a little sad, too! But people have all sorts of reasons for defriending others, so I try not to take it too personally!

@avivoca: Same. Most of the time I don't even notice, but there have been a few where I thought we were friendly/closeish and then they were gone

@avivoca: I had a similar experience, not too long after my wedding. I found out from a mutual friend that one of my bridesmaids was a real bitch to her while planning my bachelorette party and presented it in a way that she was acting on my behalf. I tried to make amends but we're still not linked on social media. 5 years later i've run into her 2-3 times, we're cordial but thats about it.

I can't remember any specific people who I've noticed deleted me. I think there were a few childhood "friends" but I know I've deleted quite a few too so I don't remember who! If it were someone I was close to I'd be bummed though!

I don't really notIce. People try to refriend me all the time (I keep my friends list really limited) but I just ignore them usually. If it's someone I know I might have to see in person once in a while I'll add them and block them from my feed. If you don't care enough to be my 'friend' I don't really care lol

I usually don't notice, but I remember once making a totally benign comment on someone's post that got a little heated (it was a funny-diffuse-the-tension kind of post--OR SO I THOUGHT)--boom, unfriended! I was mad about it for a few days and composed a really snarky message to send in my head. I obviously never sent it and don't even care anymore, haha.

@prettylizy: Are you sure the person didn't just delete their acct? I've had that happen before and then realized they didn't just unfriend me, they left FB entirely.

I usually don't notice, but if they do, I'm happy! All of my close friends never would and I've been trying to be cognizant of DH asking me to be more private on social media and appreciate that they did the unfollowing first!

I usually don't notice but there were two friends who did recently and I was a little bummed! Why me? Lol. What did I do?! I mean, their loss if they don't want to see 5 billion pictures of my kids

It upsets me every time, lol! I understand that it might have nothing to do with me though. I think 99% of the time people are just cleaning up friend lists and i didnt make the cut since we arent close enough. It always confuses me when someone unfriends me then tries to refriend. Make up your mind!

@HLK208: I always figure people unfriend me because I only post pictures of the kids! I'm sure my friends without children have a major eye roll moment every time they see me post.
I don't care if anyone unfriends me. I have so many people on my list I haven't seen in years and won't likely see again. It doesn't make sense to keep them on my list, either, so I'm always editing my friend's list, too.

It doesn't usually bother me much, for the most part it has been someone I don't see or talk to often anyway. I stopped logging on to Facebook last fall and when I went back on this week noticed a few had unfriended me ... *shrug* guess if you don't participate, you get booted lol
