Sometimes I'll beat him to the bed and be waiting under the covers naked! That usually gets his attention.

My DH is pretty easy as well. All I have to do is kiss him for a little longer than usual and he's sold lol. I've been waking up ready to go for some reason, so cuddling a little more aggressively in the morning seems to do it too.

Would soaking in a tub together be a way to initiate things to get you both in the mood? We light candles and the closeness usually gets both of us going. Or maybe trying at a different time of day?

@Adira: Right before bed has turned out to be the worst time for us. At least one of us is exhausted but usually both are ready to go to bed at bed time. Right after we get home from work and/or first thing in the morning is the golden time for us.

I have found the best time is to start dinner/have it in the oven when he gets home (I'm home first.) And when he comes in for my "hello" kiss I just show a little more lust than normal. (throw in a little tongue/press my body against him) and he normally reacts right away. He's pretty easy to get going though!

@highwire: @Adira: our favorite used to be morning!! I think mostly because when I first wake up my guard is down and I'm completely relaxed. He's always ready to go but I need to be seduced, so the times when I'd be willing to wake up the mornings were always great. I miss those Saturday mornings pre-baby we'd go back to sleep and then get late brunch around noon!

@Adira: hehe I like to think so. But since having LO it's been REALLY hard. I am anxious to LO to learn to sleep in his bed since it's ruining our sexy time lol

@Adira: Ahhh in that case where a sexy little outfit & have his favorite meal in the oven and say you recorded his favorite baseball game What guy can resist that!

haha my DH just likes when I make a move, because it is usually him so when I catch him off guard he loves it.

I will usually just start kissing him, shove him onto the bed, and he's ready to go! Haha...
Or if we're already in bed, I can just run my fingernails up his back, or nibble his ear, and we're on.

@Adira: I highly doubt you are bad at seducing him. He just needs to realize how relaxing intimacy can be!

@Adira: I know it's hard with TTC to come up with ideas to keep it fun and light. My husband didn't like feeling like a "sperm bank" as he called it, so I had to really make sure he knew it was about us and not just about making a baby!

Love morning sex. I think it's the best! We used to play truth and dare with each other which would always end up being sexual. heh

What about reading sexy stories to each other? We used to read Penthouse Letters together. Though I'm not into that as much because that mag is geared towards men, but that might be good for your hubby. Or have you considered watching a sexy video together to get him in the mood? If you're open to those things, try it!

@Adira: It sounds like you're really frustrated and even emotionally hurt. When you as his wife are doubting your ability to be a lover to him I think it's a lot more emotionally damaging than you, and he, may realize.

It sounds like, in addition to trying some new stuff to add a little sizzle, you should really talk with him about your feelings and what you need/want. You have sexual desires just as much as he does and he needs to be selfless when it comes to that area with you, and vice versa. You or he will eventually begin to build resentment if things aren't worked out. It can be surprising how big of a role sex plays in a husband-wife relationship.
I think maybe one of the main reasons my husband and I have so much "fun" together is because neither of us are ever afraid to communicate our wants/needs/desires/dislikes etc, even in the moment. But I know it can take a lot to get to that point. I'm very honest with DH and he is with me, so we always know what the other likes. I never doubt my ability to seduce or please him and that is SO important for my self-esteem and self-worth as his wife, and it goes both ways.

Like @mrs.wagon I'll go to bed before him and get naked. He knows whats up after that. We really like shower sex so when I ask him to shower with me that works. Some days I'll fix my hair and makeup and put on lingerie and wait for him to come home and then jump him. We don't usually do morning sex because I am grumpy in the mornings and snap at him when he tries.

Since ttc we have gone through a couple of rough patches sexually, mostly from the stress to perform. We got through it with a lot of communication and now have no issues. Well my husband would probably say we don't do it enough, but we could have sex twice a day and he'd still say that :p.
