I usually just throw my oldest LO's hair up in a messy bun. Occasionally I will braid it but it's almost never down since her hair is SO long it gets in her mouth and she starts gagging and freaking out. I would love to try some new styles but I never know what to attempt. LO2 doesn't have much hair yet so I don't do anything with hers, and she doesn't like headbands.
How do you style your LO's hair?

It only took 3 years for her to have enough hair for a real ponytail. She hates wearing it up or in clips so right now it's bangs and a bob. If I call it a Cinderella ponytail she'll keep it in for a few hours

Usually just a ponytail or a bun, she doesn't sit still for long so I need to be quick about it.

I try to vary it. half up, a pony, a half up braid, Topsy tails, "french" ponytails and of course the classic toddler whale spout lol

We do
Pony tails
Pig tails
Bunny tail (low bun on neck - took me forever to figure out what she wanted)
Ballerina bun
Elsa braid (1 French braid)
Anna braid (2 French braids)
Front tail (half up pony tail)
2 front tails (half up pig tails)
She's very specific.
ETA: there's not much that works for DD2 but I've tried headbands, bows, and hats but it's always crazy hair day.

My daughter's hair is really thin and still fairly short and I can't braid it yet or even gather it all into one ponytail 
I pretty much do a "whale spout" each morning...or if her hair is wet, it becomes more of a high half ponytail.

DD1 usually gets pigtails, a half side ponytail, or full side ponytail. She always complains I'm hurting her (I'm so gentle!) but we usually do it anyway because she likes the result, and her fine curly hair results in a wild-woman look if we don't maintain it a bit!
DD2 used to always wear headbands, but she has just started ripping them off. I tried a little whale spout for the first time today, and she forgot about it and left it in. I love that hairstyle on baby girls

She only has enough hair for a whale spout, so if it's styled that's what she's rocking =)

We didn't style it in the past because she hated things in her hair. Thanks to frozen, she'll now entertain either 1 or 2 braids or a ponytail.

I can do so many types of braids, curls, waves, crimps, buns, twists, styles...you name it, and neither of my daughters has enough hair for any of it yet! DD1 just turned 3 and has barely enough hair for a tiny pony!

Usually she wants pigtails (sometimes she specifies high or low pigtails), but other styles include a bun, Elsa braids (which won't stay in her super fine hair), half up/half down, or just barrettes. I try not to leave it down for the day because it falls in her face and gets food all in it.

She gets a ponytail most days, half up, pig tails, or a princess braid (french braid).

Ponytail, half up, piggies, and sometimes she lets me do two french braids. But she has to be distracted.
