I use water in a spray bottle! Dh doesn't tame hair because he likes it when it looks crazy.

Knot genie and California Baby detangler.
The knot genie was life changing. It's soooo easy to get out tangles now.

@autumnlove: Seriously. I was skeptical and then borrowed Travelgirl's over the weekend and ordered it from amazon on the spot. Doing DD's hair used to take like five minutes to just comb it out. One run through with the knot genie and all the tangles are gone!
