My son pronounces his name correctly now, but when he first started saying it around 18 months he would point to himself and say "oui, oui". It was so cute.

Lorelei still mostly says, "Lie-lie." She will also call herself, "Lita," because we do. These are all so sweet! @GrapeCrush: I think that's adorable. Ellie hadn't said Ellie at that age, either. I actually don't remember, but I think she was closer to three before she started to call herself by her name.

He just started saying it -- with a Spanish accent the way they do at daycare. It's so cute. I'm sure it won't be long before he says it the English way.

Eleanor calls herself "el-nor" (so, very close!). Her newest favorite phrase is "El-nor do it!" For everything! She rarely talks about herself in the first person, everything is 3rd person by name

These are soooo cute! I can't wait till LO starts saying her name. She *has* said "a-ya" a few times (her name is Aria) but not sure if that was an on purpose thing or not.

My oldest, Ean, calls himself E-on.
Then my middle one calls himself baby weh, his name is Les, but we have called him baby Les out of habit for so long he thinks it's his name. But he's 2 now and has a younger brother so he's not really a baby anymore I have been working with him to not say baby first but now he says it and giggles and messes with me because he knows I don't want him to say it.
