27 weeks with E....we just got back from a short trip to FL (but i wouldn't call it a babymoon) at 30 weeks

16 weeks I think. But it was more like a vacation that we had really been wanting to do for a while that would be a lot harder to do after LO (Alaska, in winter) vs super relaxing beach vacation that I think of as a babymoon.
Travel wasn't bad and it was a good time to do it. The only down side is that I definitely looked like I might just like food and drink too much, instead of baby bump.

11 or 12 weeks, I think? It was the only time we could realistically get away so even though it felt a bit early, we went with it.

around 36 weeks. Good timing too, since that narrow window was the only time I felt good the entire pregnancy. My mom was freaking out the entire time we were gone that I would go into labor though

With my first pregnancy I was 26 weeks. I felt GREAT.
With this second pregnancy we will be going when I'm 30 weeks. I'm hoping I will feel good then too!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I was 28 weeks with H. We actually found a neighborhood in the city we went on the baby moon at, fell in love, and built a house and moved when she was 6 months old. So we don't have baby moon plans for H2 (We named her!) because we live in our favorite place now:)

@PrincessBaby: omg that is such a good story! And yay about the name!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: It was our plan anyway in the next few years, it just happened a bit sooner than we expected thanks to that BabyMoon:)

37 weeks. Long weekend in the desert, about 2 hours driving time away from home.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: not too far, we went to NYC for a long weekend, which is a 5 hour drive from us. And of course plenty of great hospitals there if anything had happened!

27 weeks. I brought compression socks for the plane just in case, but never needed them.
pomegranate / 3375 posts
@Rainbow Sprinkles: You should do great on the plane. Lots of water. Be sure to get up to pee a couple times (circulation), and you can even wear compression socks or leg sleeves. If you do get swollen, just take it easy later that day. Put your legs up and enjoy!!

We have a cruise booked for 3 weeks from now, so 21 weeks-ish. We're planning to do something small later, but not too late.

Around 14 weeks... We went on a cruise and cruise lines have a cut off for how many weeks pregnant you can be and still go, so we went earlier rather than later. This time I'll be 27 weeks when we do a babymoon weekend getaway.
