I used to think that eating a sandwich with cheese, meat, and lots of veggies on it was a "healthy meal." (oh, this isn't fried? it' definitely healthy.)

Now, I feel immense guilt when I eat a sandwich because I feel like the bread is such a sin.

I think this stems from having to be on a strict elimination diet for LO, but also the paleo/whole30/glute-free lifestyles that have become quite the norm.

Now, I really try to avoid wheat.

ETA: I also avoid dairy and soy, while focusing on lots of plants (especially green ones) and generally just eating "real foods." Full fat, no processed foods, little sugar, etc. I used to eat fast food a LOT and that has drastically changed.
