I woke up with severe lower back pain though... not sure what that's about. What V day giveth, V day taketh away.

It's going good, my husband got me a nice Victoria's Secret perfume gift box set that he picked out on his own, I was very impressed and it smells good too

Ok I guess. Hubby gave me a very sweet card and loved his gift. My LO has been pretty cranky.... but I guess that's life with a teething baby. She's napping now, hopefully she'll wake up happier!

My co-worker brought in Dunkin Donuts, so it's amazing! Mmmm glazed donuts.

Well, it's only 7 a.m. here and my husband just left for work. I have a late class, so I won't see him until 10:30 tonight. Ick.

nothing yet. But my DH did tell me that he is going to cook dinner tonight and I can pick whatever I want (as long as he can cook it, which limits it quite a bit! lol). And he said we can watch whichever romantic movie I want on netflix. Which I'm actually kind of excited about because we *never* watch romance movies together.
But I don't have to work today! So I'm going to go out and pick some nice steaks and get DH a card.

Day has gone fine so far.. baby's down for a nap and I'm being lazy. -
I'm at work and not much is going on, so it's been pretty boring. I can't wait to go home, see my husband, and go see Episode I in 3D.

It started off great. It's rare that DH gets the LO in the mornings but he did today and there was a big poopy diaper for him to change and not me. MUAHAHAHAHAHA.

My Valentine's day is pretty much just another Tuesday. It's cool though. I'm really not crazy about the holiday. He did give me an early gift anyway, a pandora charm with LOs birthstone. That's all I need

just another ordinary day. we went out to eat at a really yummy restaurant on friday to celebrate since he's on call tonight.

Pretty good! I just got notification that our tax refund got deposited! I picked up the movie 'Friends with benefits' from redbox, too. I picked it up early so I would beat the rush. Things are looking good so far. Oh, the movie was free with a special vday code.

Hubby just showed up at my office with flowers/chocolate. So much better than a delivery boy if you ask me!

It’s a normal day so far – but we ever exchange cards or gifts. We’re going to tour the hospital I’ll deliver at tonight after work, and then going to our favorite restaurant for dinner – so starting around 6pm my day will get considerably better.

It's just like any other day so far. We barely celebrate it. All I've done is clean so far, and we're almost out of paper towel so that's about to get more difficult!

I just helped 18 four year old's give Valentine's to each other. After lunch, we're having a party complete with cupcakes. I'm already exhausted, but its been a fun day. The best part? A ton of my kids gave me Valentine's too! I'll def. need some chocolate after today.

Good : ) DH is out of town, but sent flowers to school yesterday. He won't be home until 7:30 tonight, but I'm having fun at school giving Valentine's to my students (high school students are shocked) and eating lots of sweets. I love V-day!

It's been a nice surprise since we don't normally do much for Vday. DH unexpectedly sent roses to my work with a note "I love you and the kiddo!" I got very misty when I read the card. [Kiddo is due in May]

So far so good. LO got up at 5:15am and I told her "hellz no" - fed her a little and lovingly plopped her back in her crib and she slept until 9am! BEST v-day ever!
Went to the mall and ended up winning my entire $70 purchase from Chapters (Canadian version of B&N)! Bets v-day ever!
LO was happy the whole time and just went down for a nap without complaint. Best v-day ever!

My LO has been soooo cranky today. But she's been napping for over 2 hours so I can't complain.

Meh. Baby Y is sick, so not so fabulous so far. And his naps have been shorter today.
I want to do something nice for DH this evening, like cook, but I may get him a Valentine's pizza. Ha.

Wonderfully! While work was super busy, I ran out to the dollar store to buy cards for my parents and ILs and came back to 2 dozen mixed long stem roses, teddy bear, chocolates from DH!
His card was the best part!!!! After work, I will be heading over to my parents to leave them a lil vday surprise when they get home from work, stop by and say hi to the inlaws with their vday gift... then rush home to get ready for dinner with DH at a local italian bistro... NOMNOMNOM

I got up at 430 and went to work. Took a 2 hour nap. Might go get a hair cut...DH works until 5 and then at 7 we have our last Lamaze class (we get the maternity ward tour). So there hasn't been much time for romance. haha.

Hubby woke me up with a blueberry yogurt shake. Mmmm.

V-day is officially over in the Rubies' household! I made dinner, complete with frosted chocolate cake (although, Duncan Hines helped out a little bit). I'm having some tea, hubs is studying, and we're just relaxing now. WHEW!

Hubby surprised me by taking me, LO, and our pup to my favorite restaurant on the beach for some fish spread. So yummy! Of course I dressed LO in her Valentine's Day onesie that her aunt got her.... only so she could have an explosive poo on the car ride there. Good thing I always have tons of back up outfits!

@Rubies: That would have been awesome! But we're usually limited to restaurants with outside seating because I hate leaving my pup at home. He has separation anxiety and goes crazy when we leave.
