DH has wanted to name his first son the name since forever. I'm not a big fan but its not TOO terrible, so I agreed....(I do get "naming rights" for all future children though) and we're giving him my middle name so that's a bit of a mollifier.
I just hope he looks like his name?!?

We had a girls name picked out from before we knew I was pregnant. I would mention other names here and there for a few months but hubs always shot them down.

A week after we found out we were pregnant we had picked a boy and girls name. We went through a baby name book I had for girl names that are the same nationality as our last name and we both agreed right away! If she were a boy, she would have been a junior, so that was easy, too!

We negotiated baby names before we got engaged. My husband is the 10th, yes 10th, generation to be named his name. So, it was a deal breaker for him and took some heavy negotiations for him to get me to agree. I got full naming rights for a girl and he liked the name I chose. We're having a girl and the minute we learned she was a girl, I knew she was our Ella. We've never had a moment where we've questioned if the name is going to suit her. She is my Ella I prayed for.
