DH proposed in Aug of 2009. We'd been "official" since Jan of 2007, we'd met six months before that. So a lil over 2.5 years of dating. In hindsight, it sounds like such a short period of time, though that summer seemed like a lifetime waiting for the big proposal!

Slightly less than 1.5 years. We were married on our 2-years-of-knowing-each-other anniversary. And had LO 11 months after that!

Began dating in March 2005 and got engaged in September 2010. So, exactly 5.5 years. It felt like an eternity, but we started dating young, so it was worth the wait for us. We were then engaged for a little over a year, and just celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary.

just shy 3 1/2 years, and then married about a month after our 4 year dating anniversary. now we've been married about that long, and I swear, the first 3 years of dating went by so much more slowly than the 3 years we've been married!

A little over a year after we met. We met December 6th 2009 (coming up on 4 years!) and started dating that night, basically, and he proposed on Xmas 2010. We had moved in together after a month though

We dated a little over 4 years when he proposed on Christmas 2008. We got married 10 months later on our 5th dating anniversary in 2009. The 4 years were definitely long especially when we moved in together and other couples who had been together a shorter time were already engaged/married before us.
