Just as the title says, how long did it take for your LO to fall asleep when you decided to sleep train at nap time? (And of you could, the age you did this)

we nap trained at 5 months (epic fail) and then again at 7months - longest we let her cry for naps was an hour (on and off crying), bedtime/MOTN was on and off for two hours it was pretty awful. it's hard to know when to get them and what the right thing to do is! GL with sleep training if you're trying it, it can be so hard

Umm, for naps my "cry threshold" is 10 to 15 minutes because up until recently (9 months) she wasn't a great nap per anyway, so I was fine with just taking a 30 minute or longer break & trying for a nap again later. My approach to naps was way different than night time
ETA: we half ass attempted several times but she seemed incredibly receptive to it around 7 months so I stuck with it & it took a day and a half. Still going strong!

She was 3 months old and we decide we would wait 10-15mins max. It took her one day to get it.

At 5.5 months we did nap training. My limit was 20 minutes and it took 2-3 days, and she still cries for almost every nap, but rarely more than 5 minutes, but usually sleeps 1.5-3 hours instead of the 20 minute naps she used to take.

I napped trained around 5.5 months because I was going back to work at 7m and she was still relying on BF to go down. It was really easy for us. It took about a week before she'd go down without crying, but she really only cried 10 mins tops. We also introduced a lovey at the same time. This really helped to lengthen naps once she could put herself to sleep and she transitioned Into the 2-3-4 nap schedule by 7 months which has been great. Now at 10 months I still nurse before naps and bed but she goes to her crib awake and goes right to sleep, no fuss.

I started at 3 months and the longest was ~30 min. That wasn't 30 min of crying the whole time though. She'd cry 3-5 min, calm down, ramp up and repeat. She also still cries before every nap now (almost 10 months). She cries between 30 sec to 8 min every day. It's so weird.
